The food took ages to arrive, despite us being the only two people in the place. The seafood in the spaghetti was frozen not fresh, and looked like it should never have been fished in the first place - the mussels and prawns were the smallest we've ever seen. The sauce was tasteless. The cabbage 'salad' was a bowl of chopped cabbage. For the price we paid, we expected much better.

We had great time and tasty food, specially veal and poultry dishes. I can't remember the name of the main dish I had but i know that my friends enjoyed in Dracula's teeth. Veal in my meal had special taste that i have never tried before, such a nice and different spices inside it.Thank you so much for your feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed the food. Stopped here for a late lunch, and Iâm glad we did. We love the local food and the menu had plenty to choose from. Reasonably priced and the terrace out the front is nice and quiet with a glimpse of the castle through the trees. Would definitely go again!

We were on a tour to Peles, Bran Castle, and Brasov and stopped here for lunch. Everything was good once we got an English menu. Our tour driver's English was limited, and without pictures, I coud not figure out most of the Romanian words. I chose the Chicken Schnitzel with Cheese Sauce & Mushrooms. My other half had the cabbage rolls with Polenta. We both had Coke Zero and water to drink. All was good, and the prices weren't too bad. It was a hike to/from the parking lot but was nice to have a good lunch in a clean place where many locals were eating on their vacation. I recommend if you're in the area and touring Dracula's castle.

We knew the place, we've been there before, we had just pizza. But yesterday we took my grandson to visit Dracula's Castle in Bran and we needed a place for lunch. We remembered the place and went there. My family loved the place and the decorations. We found out that the cook was Italian, which explains why the food tastes to good and looks so good. He brings the spices from Italy!We had pizza, skinless sausages on the grill, grilled chicken, salads, coffee, fresh fruit juice, Tiramisu. All was perfect! The staff was so friendly, they do speak languages, so it makes it easy to get what you want. My grandson tried the pizza with nutella and mascarpone, he loved it!There were many foreigners there, they seemed satisfied. Above the restaurant there is a B&B. My husband went up to see the rooms, we may stay overnight sometime, on our next visit.It is important also that the trattoria Al Gallo is ten minutes away from Bran Castle, known as Dracula's Castle, not far from the shops and the local market with souvenirs, food, toys, cards.We are definitely returning there with family and friends. I strongly advise a visit.I could add that the portions are large, appetising. The prices are decent, affordable. You will feel the most important person there!PSThey were getting ready for Easter, that is why you will see a porcelain rabbit on each table.

You couldnât ask for a better location. It took less than 10 minutes to get to Draculaâs castle on foot. We parked our car and left it parked all weekend because we could get everywhere on foot. The staff treat you like family, literally. My fiancé left a hat in his room after we checked out and the staff called within less than 5 minutes to let us know. I have never seen a hotel do that in my life. The people that work here are so honest. We didnât want the hat so we told him it was our gift and he said the hat would be waiting on us for our next visit. That was the sweetest thing ever to say. The breakfast was good and they even have made to order omelettes, just ask the waiter. They have free Romanian liquor at the front desk and you can help yourself to as much as you want. The beds were super comfy and the views of the mountains were picturesque. I loved our stay here and wonât stay anywhere else in Bran. Highly recommend this charming place!!!!! Absolutely fantastic!

We came to Bran Chalet for the first time to get breakfast, it was satisfying and cheap, only 28 Lei per person including a hot beverage(tea or coffee). Because we enjoyed the atmosphere at breakfast so much we reserved a place for dinner and was not disappointed, the waiter was very kind and a great showman. We had a wonderful 3 course dinner including a bottle of a good Romanian wine for about 300 Lei, and our weiter added a few complimentary Plinka shots (local schnapps).The restaurant has direct view of the Bran castle, which is beautifully lit at night. Very Romantic place.

This restaurant stands out from most in Romania as the food is genuinely gastronomic, albeit based on traditional fare. The Maitre d' could easily belong in a Michelin restaurant with a detailed knowledge of wines and the food he serves. A special night out, with prices that reflect (but do not overstate) the quality. Excellent food with some specialties. Service was good and friendly. Prices are reasonable - we had an excellent dinner for 2 people 100 ron. Very nice decor and aired dining room. Pleasant music not too loud (our 3 month old daughter slept very well there). We had dinner inside the restaurant because it was too chilly outside but the terrace looked great too. Totally recommend it.
