The local skillet dish is definitely not one for the faint hearted. What a challenge to finish it all and a "flaming" excellent belly buster oozing with flavour.Good service with an easy going singing duo to accompany your fine food and drinks. Log fire sets off the welcoming homely feel.Great choice of local dishes to choose from that were thoroughly enjoyed by all in our party. Its well worth the extra walk further down the hill so don't overlook it because of its location away from the main central selection of bars and restaurants.

Bjâs seemed to have the loudest music, and was certainly full every time we visited it. Happy hour seems to run and run. But only for local produce. The local beer is decent, kept away from the cocktails though. I was there for the slopes primerely. Not a hangover haha

We were staying at the sangria which is just round the corner to the titanic. We have been in before during previous holidays but was slightly off our route. This month however we passed this place daily so would be rude not to stop for a drink. The staff were great and made us feel very welcome. We kept seeing plates of food being delivered to tables and decided it looked good so had a meal in there. I had poem kavarma and my misses had the chicken and mushroom sauce. It was excellent. Many thanks and see you again in March

Next to each other, Vicky's Pizza & the Harp Bar Borovets are 2 places united in 1. Runned by Kiril Drenovski, who decided to join them so his customers can quick access and easy to go from the pizza restaurant to the bar. But you 'll be served food & dri
We went to the restaurant without expecting anything extraordinary but were agreeably surprised by the friendliness of the owner and the quality of the food. We went there twice during our five day holiday. They don't do only pizza, they have an extensive menu with a variety of courses including meat, fish (the barbecue grilled trout is to die for!) and other local dishes. My only small critic is that the French fries could have been a bit more crispy. All restaurants are not open during the summer but I can warmly recommend this restaurant.Thank you for visit and review! Welcome back again!

You already have Hotel Alpin Borovets on the site, however I want to rate only the restaurant.
Part of the Alpin Hotel, we were seated by the window and to our delight, a hot radiator! The menu is varied with dishes from around Europe and wider. We shared the traditional Bulgarian baked cheese dish which was divine, then I opted for another Bulgarian dish for my main. This stew was tasty and warmed me right up. The food came out when it was ready, therefore we had the cheese simultaneously as our mains.Tried & Tasted: Baked Cheese with Honey & Walnuts; Chicken Gyuvech with Rustic Bread

A classic place for Apres Ski with Great Food, Great Beer and a friendly welcome from former olympic Skier Cristo Angelov. For those that love the slopes you can even have a lesson from the great man himself.
Me and my boyfriend were in Borovets for 7 nights and we have eaten at White Magic on 5 nights out of 7. The place is warm, cosy and friendly with a pub like atmosphere. There is a large selection of dishes which include burgers, pasta, pizza, beef, chicken and local dishes all delicious with generous portions. Prices are moderate as well. There is a TV where you can watch football and other sports and in the evening, a selection of popular international music is played. The best thing about this place is definitely the friendly owner, Christo who is a jolly and very friendly guy, an ex olympic skier who makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The pub is adorned with lots of his ski competition memorabilia which he loves to talk about and which we really enjoyed listening to. Christo also gives private skiing lessons which we will take on our visit next year to continue improving our skills. I spoke to some people who visit Christoâs pub and they recommended him highly as an instructor and also read great reviews about his great and fun tuition. I look forward to it!

Managed by husband and wife team, Bobby and Kas, Bobbyâs Bar is a family run restaurant, 100metres across from the gondola on the right-hand side. If you are coming from the Rila end of the resort, walk down towards the gondola and you will find us half w
We had a nice dinner in the Bar. The place is comfy and nice, the food is good, but the best thing was our host, Dave. He is a funny and very welcoming man, made us feel really cool here. He gave us good tips about the region and offered us a free welcome shot. A great guy, who enjoy his job and it comes through.Hey Guys,Thanks so much for taking the time to write us a review - it really does mean the world to all the team. We are delighted that you had such an amazing time in Bobby's Bar and hope to see you again soon.Love Bobby, Kas, Dave, Krissi & The Team.

We were advised that this was the best restaurant in Borovets and we were not disappointed. We came on our first night and it was so good we came on our last too. Itâs a lovely traditional family run restaurant. The son (Svilen) is front of house with the parents doing the cooking. They do fabulous local specialities which is what we would recommend. On the first evening we had Cornflake Chicken which you must try. Gorgeous. We also had their stuffed mushrooms which were lovely too. On the second evening we had their Cheese in a pot with eggs to start. On both evenings we had their Satch per too which is pictured. It is a delicious Bulgarian dish with pork and chicken with loads of lovely veggies in a rich sauce in a hot skillet. Awesome! We then shared their recommended apple cake to finish which did not disappoint!! We didnât really have room for it but oh well!! It was fabulous. All in all, a great way to enjoy your evening. If youâre in a busy week, make sure you book. Itâs quite small and will fill quickly.

We read the reviews and went each day we were there (four days). On the 4th day, it was just too busy and Peter reluctantly couldn't accommodate us, but we understood. The place is small but that's part of the appeal. The other appeal is the excellent food and affordable drinks. the garlic potato was divine, the garlic bread rolls excellent, the pizza superb, the spinach and cheese dish delicious. An open fire greeted us on every occasion, alongside a genuine warmth from the staff. Even when tables were 'booked', they attempted to fit people in, even for a short stay. You MUST book for the evenings if you go in busy weeks, as everyone now knows about this gem, but late afternoon, you can chance it and get lucky. Super place.
