Made reservations for Quai38 in advance of our stay in Lille. Did not want to miss this for a wonderful evening with my wife, who is a food snob like myself. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The staff makes you feel very welcome. Dishes were original and putting the quality of the food in its power. This tasted like a starry starry night! Bertrand cum suis... thanks for this experience.

Wow. A great little find just out from the centre of Lille . A small menu of absolutely lovely food. We enjoyed everything that we ate. The service was helpful, informative and friendly. A really pleasant ambience for our meal. Good value wines ( the Petit Chablis was very reasonable ). It really is a gem of a restaurant ( modern, clean, fresh ); well worth a bit of an effort to get out to.

Nice, intimate restaurant. When visited for dinner, really busy. Food excellent, nicely served by nice girls. However the best part was the following! Asked waiter to order a taxi ti take us back to our hotel. Waited 1/2 hour, taxi did not show up. When the owner found out about this, he just showed us to his car and drove us back to hotel. That is called service! Thanks you, le patron!

Here for the Paris Roubaix Challenge and staying close by so decided to give this place a go given previous reviews and we werenât disappointed! Lovely proprietor who made us feel really welcome and the food was delicious too! I opted to try all 3 âPancooksâ which is bread filled with 3 fillings - scrumptious ( although had to leave some of the exterior). My 8 year old wants to go back tomorrow.xDear Chuddyswim, thank you so much for this nice review we read very carefully. A very nice restaurant located in a quaint town near Lille. The cuisine is delicious, with seasonal ingredients and nice presentation. Nothing very original but honest and very good. I prefer the room in the front with the view of the church. The back room lacks personality. The service is professional. The house aperitif was not a success. They tried to be original with balsamic vinegar, but the mix of all the liqueurs and ingredients doesn't work. We all left it.

You really need to know where you are going to find this restaurant. It is out of the main way but worth a visit. The decor is nice but could be improved. The service is not exceptional, depending on who is serving you. The food is great though, a wonderful surprised. We had the set anniversary menu and it was just delicious and great value. The wine was perfect; the turbot with mushroom sauce delicious and the desert excellent. A great surprise for a wonderful evening.

Cadre, personnel, carte .. ce restaurant a tous les atouts en main .. accueil hyper sympa, service souriant, pro, rapide et attentionné... belle carte et des plats plein de saveurs et à la présentation impeccable.. nous avons passé un excellent déjeuner ! Mon bar aux artichauts et sauce façon bouillabaisse était excellent ! Une vraie envie dây retourner rapidement ! Bravo

This is without any doubts one of the BEST RESTAURANT IN the Lille area.Food is STUNNING and excellent and service is very good.Price is very reasonable if you compare to any similar restaurant in cities like LONDON or PARIS ( would cost your twice the bil you will pay in here!!!)Highly recomand it for special occasion.A MUST to experience once in your lifetime

We visited this restaurant with a group of 30 persons and we were impressed. The food was delicous, nicely presented and the service was perfect. Although we were such a big group the staff was very attentive, we were served all at the same time and every request was fullfilled. As a couple we will definitely go back on our next visit.
