Fine French dining with gourmet ingredients and great service in the centre of Naas, Co. Kildare. Awarded best restaurant in Co. Kildare in the 2011 & 2012 Irish Restaurant Awards, Vie de Chateaux has been at the top of the list of best restaurants in Ire
Can not actually say enough good things about this restaurant- we have been here several times, the most recent being last weekend. The prawn starter here is amongst my most favourite dish from anywhere and it consistently reaffirms that belief. By far, this is the best restaurant in Naas

Las Rada Wine & Tapas bar is a small, cosy bar that serves tasty tapas to share with your family and friends.
Visited on an early Saturday evening. Lots of plaques on the entrance indicating good food. Quite cramped seating and very loud customers - the sound just echoes around the hard surfaces. The menu was rather limited and not what I would class as Tapas. The red sangria was tasteless and mainly ice at â¬10 for a half carafe. The food was tasty but portions varied a lot between different dishes and it was difficult to guess what one would get unless one had a view of dishes being served to another table. I had the shallowest creme brûlée I have ever seen!Service was very slow but it was a busy time. Three of my friends agreed that we still all felt hungry on leaving despite having three or four dishes each, so not a place for hungry lads! The restaurant is obviously popular and a place to pass time with friends. If in a hurry, probably not the place to dine.

Bouchon serves nodern French cuisine using local Irish ingredients, served in a relaxed athmosphere
Saturday night dinner with friends, overall excellent. Place full, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. Good menu offering with really good food served. One of our group selected from night specials which was a miss but the restaurant removed the wine charge from the bill without quibble. Again would recommend and will return.

A unique welcome with two mannequins supporting the special Olympics in the hallway. We were seated quickly in this cozy restaurant. The food is of a very high standard and there was good selection of vegetarian options. The waiter was attentive and friendly. For the quality of the food it is very well priced. I will be stopping in next time I am in Naas for a bite. Highly recommend the Wicklow Weiss beer. Note:We ate here while the all Ireland final was on to avoid the crowd but it was still busy so I would recommend booking if you plan on visiting.

Arranged surprise 80th birthday party with family. Despite the large group, the service and food was excellent. We have become accustomed to below par service from under-trained staff nowadays but not here at Trax - all stag knew the menu intimately and everybody received their meals exactly add they had ordered them with no fuss. No annoying shouts from the waiters of "who's having the beef with extra onions but with no potato...".Highly recommend this restaurant for small or large groups.

Not what we expected based on awards and reviews. All of the food was bland and uninspiring. At best the standard was second rate "bar food". Overall very very let down particularly as we were entertaining guests. Staff were pleasant but the chef who was responsible for preparing our food should be retrained. Prices were at least 25% too high for what was offered. Will not return.

With only one option available for non meat-eaters, I was forced to order the pumpkin tagine. When i arrived it was luke warm, not very well spiced and was served with cheap white rice, not cous cous as you would expect for a Morroccan tagine. Not great at all. My partner had sea-food chowder and he seemed to like it but he has had better. It's a shame the food isn't good, as I think the place might attract more custom. The views are beautiful, so a lot more could be done here to make it a go-to venue.

It is awful sitting in a cafe eating a meal while staff are sweeping the floor and spraying chemicals on tables around you. It's equally as bad, watching staff using gloves to make sandwiches, using the same gloves to wipe the counters etc.
