staying at the hotel and went down for dinner. This is not fancy french food but a great value. had fish soup and baked Camembert for appetizers, steak for dinner and ice cream for desserts. food was above average, well presented . service was friendly. main menu was 16 euros for appetizer, main and dessert and 22 euros for the upgraded menu. very good price for this resort town.

We visited the LâAlaska Brasserie in Berck during a short mid-week visit to the town and on a reasonably warm day in April. We had managed to park in a car park nearby in the Rue de la Plage and chose the restaurant whilst walking along the sea front here in the early afternoon. We sat in a semi-permanent sheltered area set up in front of the main building and this was quite warm in the mid-day sunshine especially as there were small heaters running as well. From our seats we could view the Esplanade and the preparations for the upcoming kite festival happening that weekend. The restaurant was reasonably busy but we were seated without any delay. The menu was quite comprehensive and being by the seaside we all chose the fish and chips meal and a drink. Our meals arrived at the table in a good time and was hot and with a portion size likely to satisfy an average lunch time appetite. There were no complaints from any of our party and we all enjoyed the meal. The waitress who served us was very efficient, she seemed to be doing all the tables in the covered area was very organised, customer focused and friendly.Overall, and enjoyable experience eating fish and chips on the seafront in Berck. Would not hesitate to recommend a visit here to any visiting tourists.

We chose this restaurant as it was just round the corner from our hotel, and it was raining so did not want to venture far. We were not disappointed. The menu gave plenty of choice without being overwhelming, and the were also 'dishes of the day'. The food was freshly prepared and local ingredients are used wherever possible. The staff were efficient and friendly. We arrived, without a reservation just before 8pm, and we were glad we did not leave it much later as the restaurant was almost full by 8.30pm

We looked at all the potential eating places within walking distance and settled for La Grilladine and to be honest we weren't expecting much. We booked a table which was a good thing because the restaurant was full and once we were seated they were queuing outside the door. It was Saturday evening and the town was heaving. At first we felt very rushed, but we were determined not to be and things settled down. Service was quite friendly though. We started with Ficelle Picarde, a lot better than we've eaten in many places. P continued with Tartiflette (a very cheesy dinner) and I had Emnicé de Montbéliard with mustard sauce and chips. When the sausage is cut up, you can't see if you've got a whole one or not. It was good enjoyable food. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance, and decided to try it. From the outside the restaurant does not look very big, and the frontage is not very appealing. However, we were pleasantly surprised to be shown to the interior courtyard, which was very quiet and secluded. I ordered Moules Frites, and my husband ordered the Steak Frites. We both enjoyed our meals, and we both liked the frites, which were soft on the inside, yet crispy on the outside. The service was good and we would recommend the restaurant to others.

The personnel is nice, but the food is very poor. Overcooked cold mussels, frozen chips worse that in McDonalds, wine bought for less than â¬3 in the supermarket and sold at â¬12. Very small room so you can pick from the dish of the unknown person next to you. Poor furniture and decoration.

however the staff was very friendly and nice we got both sick after the dinner. We ordered 1 pizza (4 fromages) and 1 pizza with chicken and pineapple (the hawai variant) but it has another name on the menu. Place to avoid!!!
