Find out what European restaurants to try in Benicasim. Benicàssim (Valencian pronunciation: [beniˈkasim], Spanish: Benicasim, Arabic: بنو قاسم according to numismatic findings) is a municipality and beach resort located in the province of Castelló, on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. The Desert de les Palmes mountain range further inland shelters the town from the north wind. The name is derived from the Banu Qasim tribe, a segment of the Kutama Berbers that settled the area during the 8th century Moorish conquest of Spain.

Restaurant on the promenade of Benicassim. Located on Torreon beach. We take care of every detail of the traditional preparation of our dishes and in the paella we do it with fresh vegetables from our orchards (in season) and the know-how of our Chefs. Th

I visited this restaurant a few years back when I attended my friends' wedding and remembered it and on a recent short holiday decided to visit again. It was so good on our first visit that we visited the next three nights running! The owner Carlos, can not do enough for you. if it is not on the menu, he will make it for you. He has excellent English and can makes the most awesome dishes, from squid to smoked salmon with gin and tonica - I kid you not it was divine. Talking of gin and tonica - he makes the best in Spain. The pudding of crepes with ice cream and warm chocolate sauce was to die for coupled with the Spanish omelette and the best croquettes. The atmosphere is fabulous and everyone is so utterly charming and friendly. Once you visit once, you will be like us and go back and back. We are going back to Benicassim in September and one of the first places we will visit, once we have dropped off our bags is El Corralet!

Met friends here for lunch, having only visited for a quick drink in the past, and enjoyed a lazy few hours on the beachfront eating, drinking and chatting. The food was good, not expensive given the fantastic location on the beach, and the service was friendly and efficient. We weren't made to feel rushed at all. No doubt it would be much busier in high season, but although not full, it was well attended and popular. It's prime location is the main attraction, and with free parking around the corner, it's the place to go on a sunny day!Muchas gracias por sus comentarios y valoraciones.

A very Spanish, crowded bar with numerous hams hanging and a huge selection of Tapas. Authentic tapas are not a cheap way to eat but these were particularly pricey. However, the quality was excellent.. Four of us shared plates of cheese/Iberican Ham, black pudding with peppers, pork loin wrapped in bacon, sliced steak and fried small fish.

Go for the views or don't go at all. The food is unimaginative for the price charged; cooked poorly, presented adequately. Starter salad for 12 euros included, among other prawns, raisins, endives and walnuts in thick mayonnaise. The 15 euro dorada was poorly cooked and the fish didn't part from the skin easily (fresh?). Lots of paella being eaten, we were not offered a menu del dia. Service good. Another restaurant 1 km along the road may be worth trying.

A very friendly reception and lovely atmosphere. We had lovely chilli olives with a beer and wine which would have been great value. However, the owner then brought the best patatas braves any of us have tasted, again as a free tapas. Unfortunately we visited to late in our stay to enjoy a full meal but on our list for our next visit.

I came across this restaurant purely by chance, as I was sheltering from the rain and they invited me in. I had a cafe con leche and straight away there was a good feel about the place. Manilo served me with a delightful cup of coffee. Guests were just walking out of this eatery and I asked them would they recommend this restaurant. They did and I certainly was not disappointed. So I booked. Unbelievable! The best lobster I have ever tasted with fidua (sorry about spelling but it is the pasta version of paella). Beautiful dessert too and good wine. Manila is so on the ball. Attention to detail and has trained his staff so well. What can I say "A Fabulous Restaurant" for which I thank you. Will book again before I go home.
