My husband and I went here for dinner as it was right next door to where we were staying. The food was really nice although the service was a little sub par. They weren't busy but the service was quite slow. We would eat there again as the food was nice.

The Duke of Marlborough is a 5 Star restaurant with 5 Star service. This is the place to go for fine dining and exceptional service. All of the staff are professional waiters and know what they are doing. The kitchen was well staffed and the food was exceptional too. I enjoyed my dining experience, forgot to take photos ... but well worth a visit. I will be going back and remember to take a photo!

Charlotteâs Kitchen established in 2015 brings a fresh approach to dining â with a killer view right at the end of the Wharf in Paihia, Bay of Islands
This is on the pier at Paihia and extremely popular especially Friday to Sunday so recommend that you book a table or be disappointed. We were very impressed by the food and service, lots of local people were in which is a good sign

CLOSED FOR THE WINTER. Authentic wood fired pizzas, local craft beer on tap and boutique NZ wines in a relaxed, sheltered tropical garden.
Delicious menu with a wide variety including cabinet food. The service is top notch and the ambiance is lovely with inside and outside dining. Great for families to solo diners.

We enjoyed our wine tasting before our meal. The wines were all very nice. The menu had excellent choice and the snapper was wonderful but the tuna with pickled vegetables the best I have ever had. The service was excellent and while the prices for food were top end they were worth it. We couldnât fault our lunch and are glad we visited.

Ake Ake means forever forever that is my stance about this outstanding restaurant. For 7 years I've never been disappointed. This is the sort of place that's hard to find these days. It's the reason you dine out. Outstanding service, individual attention, prompt delivery, excellent local wines. Relax by the fire in winter, sit outside on warm summer days. Recommend Fillet steak from heaven good selection of vegetables. The apple and rhubarb tart a perfect dessert. Can't wait till next time.

Boutique wine growing on a sunny peninsular in Russell. Casual style eatery serving gourmet local produce platters and wood fired pizzas to complement our wines. We also have a cellar door offering wine tastings & sales, panoramic ocean and vineyard views
We popped in just before closing and were unable to sample the food (shame because the hot-from the-oven pizzas looked good). It's a well run place that offers a nice venue with stunning views in which to taste the wine.
