Passed Kasa Rosa a million times but visited for first time on a Saturday lunchtime. Very friendly staff promoting a casual, informal atmosphere for diners who were a mixture of couples through to large birthday celebrations with nearly all repeat local customers (got to be a good sign)Not a bad word amongst our large party about the varied meal choices made, so definitely on our list now if staying local rather than going into central Leeds.

I would rate this restaurant as Good but unfortunately, Trip Advisor do not have a rating for this level. We were looking forward to trying the new revamped Brooks and visited with friends recently. We received a very warm greeting on entering into the bar area from the female owner which immediately made us feel welcome. We weâre asked if we wanted a drink in the bar or go to the table and decided on the latter although there was a great buzz in the bar from people sat at the high tables enjoying a good natter.First impression of the restaurant was that it is no longer the Old Brooks; the new owners have certainly put their mark on this place and these changes have altered the atmosphere of the dining experience (in a good way) which will probably appeal to a much broader age range of clientele. Whilst we enjoyed our pre dinner drinks, we perused the menu deciding on which dishes we would order to share and was a little confused as many of the them were not what we would have thought of as sharing plates. We did notice that most of the surrounding diners ordered a plate each as a starter and then a second plate as a main course and that the only sharing element of the meal were the bowls of side vegetables. We asked the owner if she could advise us on how the sharing thing worked and basically was told that many do order a âstarterâ and then a large plate each for mains which went against the concept of sharing plates. When the first dishes were served the food looked and smelled delicious and I couldnât wait to start eating. We all agreed that the food was good but that only one of the four dishes (gnocchi) leant itself to âsharingâ. The others; pigs cheek with scallop, venison and crab were small portions of well presented plated food which wouldnât sensibly portion up to share unless you reached across the table and took a forkful from the individuals dish. Also, if these were intended for sharing why werenât plates brought to the table to allow this. It was the same with mains, how could a piece of belly pork in the cassoulet and short rib beef be shared without someone playing âmother â and taking the meat off of the bone and cutting it into small portions this surely goes against the concept of the easy sharing platters? Let me say that we all enjoyed the food and sampled some dishes that were new to us but this still felt like a more grown up style of dining rather than the more relaxed way by having a bite to eat and at the same time enjoying a drink and a good natter as is the case with tapas/cicchetti.The biggest disappointment was the wine which just didnât deliver. We ordered the most expensive red, a bottle of Valpolicella at £34 and expected a rich fruity smooth wine however what we got was something that was very lacking being watery and not having any of the richness of a decent Italian red. We are very much into our Italian wines and know a decent one when we taste it but this just didnât cut the mustard. In fact it is unheard of that when the four of us are dining out that we donât go into a second bottle but we truthfully struggled in consuming just the one. The house wine I had as an appetitive was actually as good as the Valpolicella and at the significantly lower price of £20.Overall, we did enjoy our time at The new Brooks but it wasnât the dining experience it promised and therefore left us a little disappointed. We love the concept of sharing but it was neither this or a formal dining event. On a positive note, the food and service was of a good standard.Thank you for your review. We're really pleased to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the wine. Had you mentioned that you were not happy at the time, we would have changed the wine for you. We have a passion for wine and hope our wine list reflects that. We definitely wouldn't like to think that someone had paid for something they thought was of bad quality and did not enjoy. We hope you will return to give us another chance. Many thanks from the Brook's team.

Your family restaurant
If you want the very best lasagne - this is the restaurant for you!. It's so good I find it hard to order anything else! Friends have tried their pizzas, calzone's and pasta dishes and also say they are brilliant. Service is great too. Wine is a bit expensive but nice. Possibly one of the best restaurants in West Yorkshire!!! Love it!

Modern bar restaurant with heated outdoor terrace and first floor cocktail bar.
Nothing better on a warm Sunday early evening than to sit on the terrace at Cucinas eating their varied menu of Tapas and Yapas, with a lovely glass of wine. The dishes have been developed by their chef and include Tapas staples such as Patatas bravas, prawns in garlic, meatballs etc, however he has also included tapas sized portions of such as mini Yorkshire puddings with shredded beef, sticky sausages, jerk chicken, mussels etc etc. Only available during the summer months and a pleasant change from traditional Sunday dinner which is also served there before the Tapas begins. If wet or cold there is also an option to sit inside although this does not have the same ambience as eating al fresco.

The Lime Tree Bistro is a small independent restaurant in the heart of Morley, Leeds. Cooking only the best sourced ingredients resulting in mouth watering delights from Turkey, Greece & the Mediterranean. Our restaurant offers a selection of beautiful co
We enjoyed our meal we had the two courses for £15, my wife had SMOKED SALMON I had NACHOS good starter. We had the same main course POLLO VITOGRILLED CHICKEN BREAST LAYERED WITH AUBERGINE AND COURGETTES TOPPED WITH GOAT CHEESE, very well cooked served hot.Very polite and friendly, just a shame the owner was not in or if he or she was it was not obvious we are used to a little more interaction with owners and staff. That does not take away the fact the food was excellent. I would have also liked to have seen a couple of beef dishes on the main menu as I do not eat Lamb.

GRAND CRU is one of the latest additions to West Yorkshire's dining out scene. The restaurant is independently owned and run by husband and wife, Bernd and Sharon Wolf who recently relocated from Torquay in the South of England to start their new venture
I booked on line which was a doddle, arrived and greeted at the bar, then taken to the table. The food was delicious, not a massive menu but found something I was more than happy with, the staff were polite and attentive, good Atmos. It wasn't the warmest of restaurants but ok, it's a little more expensive than your average restaurant but that stops the rifraff. Definitely a place to get dressed up for. Overall a nice treat. 3 courses and coffees for 2, £110. I've paid more for worse...

Two of our party were retiring from work so chose this restaurant to celebrate. It wasnt our first visit here and due to the quality of the food, certainly wont be the last.We ordered various dishes from the menu, we had garlic bread to start with and I opted for a pizza and got a meat feast which was absolutely excellent. We werre too stuffed to order pudding. The food is as good as I have had in Italy, the only possible criticism I could have would be the price of the drinks but the food more than makes up for it.

My daughter and new son-in-law recently had their wedding here and I have to say the whole day was an absolute delight. Hubby and I have dined here on numerous occasions and been highly delighted with every aspect of our visit. The wedding day was out of this world from start to finish. The staff at this venue really go out of their way to accommodate every requirement and give the happy couple (and the brides mum!!) memories to treasure. Special mentions must go to several members of staff. Matt the wedding co-ordinator who was one step ahead of us all day and sorted out problems before we were even aware of them! Andrew and Phil the chefs who produce the most amazing meals both for the main meal and the night reception.. The new addition of the pizza oven is awesome and the guests are still talking about how good they were and such a change from the usual hot/cold buffet or sandwiches. Every member of staff we came across provided the highest level of service from the ladies on reception, the breakfast waitress to the bar staff â¦. names too numerous to remember but thanks go to each and every one of you.I would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful hotel as a wedding venue or as a dining experience for those special occasions
