Initially we planned to focus on seafood restaurants in our trip, but then we found this fusion cuisine place which was very close to our hotel and had fantastic reviews. So we gave it a try, and were really pleased with the quality of both food and service. We were very lucky to come early and get a table, because afterwards the restaurant looked very busy (mostly full of Spanish-speaking locals) and some visitors had to wait to get seated. The menu is short but every position is well thought through and represents a culinary masterpiece. We enjoyed everything what we ordered and also felt envy to visitors at other tables who ordered differently. Price-wise expect to pay 40-50 EUR for a decent dinner for two.

We are a small restaurant, everything here is homemade and we do our best to serve quality food with good prices. We bring to Las Palmas the tasty food of our hometown, Genova (Italy), some of which you might have never tasted! We don't pretend to be the
We enjoyed very much in Peccou de Goa by real Italian dinner. Bruschetta with balsamico vineger is a great antipasto. Both pastas one with salmon and ravioli with spinach are really delicious. We could also recommend tiramisu as dessert.Winelist is short but very well selected. Pinot grigio San Marco suited perfectly with our main courses. We would also recommend Manuela`s attitude in service, just perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant, if you like Italian cuicineDear OlliHeThank you for writing a comment on our page, every opinion is important to us and helps us improving ourselves always. Came here on Thursday night with my husband because we had an excursion in the area and had read the positive TripAdvisor reviews. Arrived at 8pm, place was full but waitress advised us that a table was just getting ready to pay. Really good vibe, excellent food (with some unusual but delicious combinations) and friendly service. We were glad we stopped by.

A quiet place beside the beach with fresh fish, seafood and different rices.
Nice....nice.....nice......been there a few times now and the dishes best description is that they are DIFFERENT then others.......nice and colorful. Ingredients are fresh and very well prepared with cooks attention. Tried everything on the small menu but they also have daily specials. The restaurant is nicely and fresh furniture, VERY clean and you are feeling a bit 'underwater' with the wall paintings, pictures and set up. Open kitchen and free view on the cook....love it! Owner has brilliant food knowledge, is open for food talk in English and knows his wines (good variety). Good place for business diner meetings due to the quite ambiance, with some private situated table in the back. Recommend the dishes with Tuna and clamps. 1 personal point minus.......change the menu every once and a while......after a few times you have seen the deserts and standard menu.....tastes fantastic but it is not surprising.Price is normal/average for a good dinner experience.

PÃcaro was conceived to be a place to share food and joy with friends and relatives. The restaurant's aim, located in the centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is to provide a space to enjoy the flavours of an international cuisine. PÃcaro is the personal
It is difficult for me to write this review: the place was recommended by the Owner of De Cuchara who I respect very much. Ok, good things: nice service, very good atmosphere, You can feel there comfortable, Chef.Things to work on:1. Ventilation system: if I wouldnât be adviced I never stepped inside as You can feel the burnt oil odour on a street olready. But You donât feel it inside.2. Menu: should be more clearly divided into sections.3. Food: shrimp curry - very good idea and taste, beef tataki - very very average4. Menu and portions composed in such a way that I left hungry- in fact I noticed that many reviewers say that.In fact I know that the Chef is really good and the restaurant could be really great - just need some inspiration.

Situated right in the quiet square facing the basilica (it's not a cathedral), El Encuentro competes with a couple more restaurants for the occasional influx of visitors, especially at the weekend. Quiet, except during days, like today, when they hold some event or other. Today, it was a road race.El Encuentro has both outdoor and indoor seating, so take your pick. It serves Spanish cuisine, but focussing more on Canarian dishes. The portions were rather miserly, more like tapa sizes, or half-portions, at best, so you'd end up ordering quite a few.We started with papas negras, which are a variety only found in Tenerife. They are not found in abundance, so they're more expensive than the other common types. When you cut the potatoes open, you'll be treated with creamy yellow flesh, similar to that of sweet potatoes. They're cooked the "arrugadas" style, boiled with the peel, in highly salted water, which makes the skin wrinkle, and accompanied with mojo sauce. Wonderful as these black potatoes were, I've tasted better. Perhaps, it needed more of the sauces...The croquettes came in 3 kinds of filling: Iberian ham, cod (these two were rather too salty for my liking) and Chorizo de Teror (these were sweetish). The chipirones (baby squid) were bigger than others I've seen and were somewhat tougher too. Bearing in mind that these are usually cheaper than the bigger calamares, I found this dish not value for money.Other dishes we had were a cheese platter, except it wasn't really a platter, keeping in line with their small-portions policy; the normal papas arrugadas, and gofio escaldado. Gofio is traditional Canarian flour, which has a distinct flavour, and this is cooked with fish stock. If you've never tried it, I suggest you did.Service was adequate but next time, I'd be more inclined to try one of those restaurants on the side streets rather than this.

Minimal décor, very clean, light, open with cheerful owner hand making the pizzas in full view! All fresh ingredients from Naples and it showed. Two adults and a teen thoroughly enjoyed it, big pizzas though, could share. Music is great.

Nice and cosy restaurant in the center of Teror, combining the typical Canary island style with the homely warmth of the Scandinavian countries. Vegetarian, vegan and ecological options.
Follow the sign boards away from the main square and down the steep, narrow street. We booked for dinner, earlier than most locals, but the place filled later in the evening. Very friendly and attentive staff, food prepared fresh and all tasted good. Good selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices.Went back a couple of days later for coffee in the courtyard. Very pleasant haven from the busy Sunday market.

We are at 6pm, normal in the UK but not here! We were the only ones dinning and thankfully this place was open as many others were closed. The service was quick and really tasty. We had the chicken soup which was huge and lovely, we then enjoyed calf liver and baked cheese with jam, both traditional local meals. We lived them both, portions were huge and the price for two with wine was â¬35. EnjoyThank you for dedicating your time in writing a review. Your opinion is very important to us. We feel excited that you liked our restaurant and that you were so satisfied. Please remember that we offer a nonstop service from 12pm to 12am. We like to take care of our customers and give the best possible experience to them, how they want it and when they want it. We sincerely hope to have you back soon !!!In the meanwhile, all the very best to you from our entire team.El Mercado
