In the centre of Evian-les-Bains our restaurant welcomes you in a warm and modern atmosphere. Our chef will delight gourmets in search of both simple and refined dishes, homemade and seasonal. When the sunny days arrive we open our terrace.
We've been going to Le Bourgogne for nearly 40 years and are among the the few who remember it as a one-star Michelin establishment with some modest rooms upstairs, presided over by Madame and her faithful chow, Jocky. Since then, the place has expanded and a more popular cuisine is served. On our first night there, we opted for the most elaborate menu; on the second, for something more moderate. Those who expect the cuisine and service of the 1980s heyday will be disappointed to find french fries on the menu. Those with a more open mind will recognize with a sigh that French cuisine has changed, and that it's possible to get a bad meal in France--though not here. Le Bourgogne remains a reliable establishment. We expect to return.

Short menu with typical french dishes. You will find foie gras and escargots here, decent steak and some fish.Deserts ok but nothing special.Service little slow. Typical french bistro interior. They have sets of 2 or 3 courses in menu cheaper than the same dishes ordered separately (nice idea). Decent wines in good prices. Would come back eventually.

My husband and I discovered this little restaurant not loo long after their opening (2015). We have returned 5 times since last summer and we live in Switzerland and Canada. The owners take care of their clients themselves. She is the host and server and he is the kitchen! The place is small so you need a reservation now. Le Menu du Jour or à La Carte food, offers a good choice of french meals and every time we went the food was always warm and very well presented. The choice of wine of the day is always very good and adapted to the menu. I took on two occasions the Tartare de boeuf and it`s very well prepared ( au couteau) with just the right touch of originality! Looking forward to go back and say hello to Mathilde!

The restaurant «Les Fresques» has been rewarded with a Star by this yearâs Michelin Guide 2018. At the heart of the 5-star luxury Hotel Royal, Les Fresques dining room offers breathtaking views of Lake Geneva. The panoramic views from the terrace and magn
Overall, the service was outstanding without a flaw. The elegant setting is remarkably beautiful which makes for a pleasant dining atmosphere. The dishes are served with artistic elegance and prepared with care to please the palate and senses. I was very impressed with the fusion style foie gras lightly warmed in a ravioli served with a meat-based bouillon. It was very tasty. For the main course, the sea bass was very flavorful and prepared with creative display and design. I admit that I would have preferred this with less salt as it was too excessive for me. The chocolate desert was decadent!I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to Stephane and Thibaud as well as the gracious gentlemen who were attentively serving us with refined care and perfection. I will be happy to return for the enjoyment of such exquisite food and fine service.

We finally went to try this restaurant and must say that we have not had a better experience in Haute-Savoie. The food was excellent; the service impeccable; the price reasonable; and the accommodation of our large family was wonderful. The perch was the best that I have eaten in the region, the steak was tender and flavourful. Nothing but good to say. Too bad it is a bit off the beaten track, but well worth the effort to go there.

Used TripAdvisor to find this gem and not disappointed....warm setting, polite staff and delicious food. Antipasto platter was a generous starter and the pizza was some of the best we have ever had. Excited to perhaps go back at some point. Overall a wonderful experience.

Bistronomie française agrémentée d'épices découvertes au hasard de mes voyages ... Restaurant de poche convivial, nous changeons de carte chaque mois pour travailler les produits locaux !
First off, there are only about 6 tables, so reservations are strongly recommended. The food is carefully prepared, well presented and excellent. The menu is not over large, but with this type of quality, it's not needed. Everything is GREAT !

Although we had driven past this restaurant several times this was the first time we had eaten there. Totally delighted with all aspects. Welcoming service, excellent food, the fish I had was perfectly cooked and delicious, and my husband's steak demonstrated the same high quality ingredients and preparation. Looking out across Lac Leman there was almost an atmosphere of being on a boat. Must be even lovelier in summer - we will return to try it!
