Original italian cuisine with influenced from Napoli, Tuscany and Sicily.
Athentic Italian trattoria! The owner/ chef is Italian from Napoli. The bread sticks and olives, the appetizers, the pizza, the pasta were very very very tasty. Great service with the right recommendation of wine that suited the meal perfectly. Great-quality food at an affordable price!

We chose Koukounari randomly among many restaurants located in cholargos. Based on the recommendation of the waiter (who was super helpful and courteous), we tried the koukounari salad, the stuffed mushrooms and the handmade ravioli with smoked pork and they were all amazing. We were delighted to have picked this place which serves good food in a proper and neat setting.

A modern Italian restaurant with warm decoration and traditional ambiance, a Trattoria with fresh pasta, pizza and Italian desserts, all homemade.
A lovely Italian restaurant (despite the French name!), with beautiful, smart/casual ambience, delicious food, very decent wine list, and truly outstanding service (warm, attentive but not overbearing, genuinely knowledgable, a joy!). Highly recommended.PS Can I encourage you to open a French bistrot, next? A proper one, which Athens lacks. You can call it a nice Italian name... :)

The restaurant's philosophy is clear and precise: years of experience, imagination and creativity seek out the best nature generously has to offer every season and evolve it into a faultlessly delicious result based on clean, authentic and imaginative dis
We had their menu degustation for their 10 years and it was great and great value for money! Everything was delicious, well cooked and the main courses were big portions! Service was excellent also. The place was very nice. It was one of the best meals we had until now and if we visit Athens again we will go back for sure! The quality of food and service was not lacking much compared with a michelin star restaurant. Your review is greatly appreciated. We are very pleased you enjoyed your experience at Psomi & Alati. We'll be happy to see you again!

Casa Del Toro, The Best Steakouse In Athens Can Travel Your Mind And Senses.
We visited this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and it didn't disappoint. We got the osso busso, which was cooked in the oven for hours, and had all its juices, really tasty, no sauce needed. The feta "spring" roll started was also tasty, as was the potato puree. The waiter even suggested the Malbec to pair our main course with, instead of the Pinot Noir we were thinking, a nice touch that we appreciated. Our only gripe has to do with the way things are presented to the customers to make them seem offered, but instead they are being charged. For instance, after ordering, we were asked if we would like some bread, and that was charged per person in the bill. After eating, we were asked: "would you like us to offer you a mille-feuille?", to which we agreed, but then were charged for it. I would prefer to take another look at the menu, and be asked in a more honest manner about the dessert choices; the way we perceived it was that dessert would be complimentary (as is the case in many restaurants in Greece, especially when they ask if you would like to be offered dessert in the end). The mille-feuille had ice-cream inside, instead of fresh cream, so I was not impressed anyway. We got complimentary digestives, which was a welcome gesture. The atmosphere was lovely, the waiters were really helpful in choosing the wine and serving the food, and the classical music in the background was amazing. I would return to try the steaks, and be more aware of choosing the bread-dessert options.

An extremely rich menu based around traditional Greek ingredients, combined to make a sort of ânouveau Greekâ cuisine. Unfortunately the dishes are poorly prepared. All the grilled meats where either under or over cooked, the service is average with long waiting times and embarrassing responses from staff. The space is pleasant especially the exterior areas, but the food is rather disappointing.

A well-deserved ranking. A finely decorated place with highly professional waitresses serving nicely presented and ambrosial food.
