Abakan (Russian: Абака́н, IPA: [ɐbɐˈkan]; Khakas: Ағбан or Абахан) is the capital city of the Republic of Khakassia, Russia, located in the central part of Minusinsk Depression, at the confluence of the Yenisei and Abakan Rivers. As of the 2010 Census, it had a population of 165,214—a slight increase over 165,197 recorded during the 2002 Census and a further increase from 154,092 recorded during the 1989 Census.

A friend who lives here in Abakan took me here to Asahi, a Japanese Restaurant that he really enjoys. I can understand why he wanted us to come here. The decor is just excellent. It is a serene and quite venue with pleasant background music. The staff are very professional and courteous and friendly. Our meals were very good. The restrooms are spotless. It was a very nice evening indeed.

The Tokana is a nice Cafe with a good selection on their food menu The surroundings are pleasant with attentive Staff The savoury stuffed pancakes mexican style are very tasty and filling I am not a coffee drinker but they have a good selection of tea's and some lovely fresh baked cakes a lovely afternoon treat

Fast and tasty food: pizza (exellent!), pasta, lasagna. Might be overcrowded with teens, also not very quite - music and noise. Polite waiters and hostesses. Usually quick service but if you see a lot of people - you understand you'll wait twice longer (40-50 min instead of usual 15-20). Summer terrace, special kids menu.

A friend, who lives here in Abakan, was so kind as to suggest that we eat dinner here at The Fashion Cafe. One word says it all : EXCELLENT.I visited The Fashion Cafe in late December (Orthodox Christmas is January 7th 2019) so Christmas decorations were out in full bloom. As you will see in my photos, they were magnificent. I wonder what decorations they have on display during the rest of the year.The decor of the entire cafe is excellent. The restroom are spotless and well appointed. The hostess and the serving staff could not possibly have been nicer nor more considerate to us. Our food was excellent. If you want fast food you don't want to come here. If you want a cheap, low cost meal don't come here. If you want excellence, VISIT The Fashion Cafe.

I had been working in Abakan for 8 weeks before I went to New York and regretted 8 wasted weeks Its a great place to go the surroundings are nice with attentive staff and an excellent menu My first visit was looking for pizza and it was one if the best I have ever eaten Subsequent visits for steaks and burgers were equally rewarded.If you visit Abakan and want good food this is the place to go as I have eaten in most of the good places .

The Limerick bar is a very nice but expensive place to visit the beer is three times more expensive than in other bars which puts it almost to the most expensive bar I have drunk beer in.The staff are plenty full and attentive with pretty girls in short tartan skirts I did not eat here but the place is more based as a restaurant with most of the tables full of people eating.The food looked good and well presented I have voted the bar low purely on the price of the beer at $10 /£6 for slightly less than a pint

The chefs had evidently been well trained,dinner was excellent, the menu offers a wide NON-RUSSIAN variety, lots of delicious Austrian dessert delights, impeccable service, competent and friendly.
