Our first time to Duke University and the stadium for a football game. People were friendly and told us about a few things to see. We enjoyed the basketball Hall of Fame museum. Pretty place and nice signs placed on our way out of the game to help us find our parking area, in the dark

This is a must-see if you're in the area. Watching a room full of people working on looms is fun and their output is artful. Also attached is a crafts gallery. We bought an interesting mug with a rounded bottom that fits into a small pedestal.

I did the boys 2 week camp about 20 years ago. As i have grown older, it remains one of my fondest memories. I gained so much knowledge, confidence, and respect for others at Turtle Island. It is an experience, that I think, every young man should have. Most of my best attributes and skills in life were born here.

Bob and Elaine are some of the most amazing people EVER! They were beyond hospitable to our group of 6. Friendly, educational, patient, are just a few of the words to describe them. The material in they buckets are, by far, the best in the area (I know this from many years of experience gem grubbing in the area). We left several stones to be cut that we know are all going to be amazing stones from good quality facet quality rough. THANK YOU for a fantastic experience that my friends will be talking about forever. We will be back at our earliest opportunity.

We spent an hour as we drove through on a trip with my mother-in-law. A short movie in the front office followed by a tour within the museum and a self guided tour of a half dozen out buildings with interpretive signs provided insight into tobacco farms of yesteryear. I would recommend stopping and perhaps driving ~30 minutes out of your way to visit.

I was absolutely blown away by the amenities, programs, accessibility to resources for success, career preparation forum, the many groups to join, class to professor ratio, campus living, study halls, the many friendly students and the knowledgeable tour guides. I wish the tour included entering empty classes so the potential students could get a sense of actually being a actual student. My husband and I took our son in Feb 2019. And now my 2 nephews are interested, so we will meet them there this April 2019. Excited!!
