Love decor in that place, so crisp, fresh, feels like in really old traditional polish country houses... Amazing Lithuanian spirit and cute hand made toys on display. We had cepeliny (gluten free!!!) and potato cakes with chicken in them. Sooooo delicious! For drinks we went for white Lithuanian beer and cherry home made liquer! It was so good we bought bottle to take home with us!Stuff was friendly and very helpful!Place worth recommendation! superb!

After my terrible experience at the Nowy Browser restaurant where they refused to serve me because I was English and Brexit had just happened I very reluctanly went into this restaurant wondering if I would suffer the same abuse. Completely different atmosphere very helpful friendly staff. They have their own brewery and sell different beers which were very good. I had a starter of Pickles with a meat goulash followed by pork ribs in honey then a delicious apple crumble cake. The whole meal including two large beers was only 74 zlotty (approx £15) very good value and good quality food.

Great food and service. The wait was a bit too long and it was very hot and humid on the evening we were there. No fans or AC thus only 4 stars.

During our stay in Szczecin in Aug 2016, we were looking for an authentic polish restaurant, and got this restaurant, highly recommended by our polish hotel host. And the recommendation was truely a good one!We ate here twice, once for a little snack midday after visiting the beautiful castle, and one more the other night for diner. If we only would have had more time in Szczecin, we definitely would have returned even more often! The restaurant is situated right in the castle yard, and has both indoor and (summer) outdoor tables. The owner is a true gem, an all friendly and outgoing Szczecin born original, and a wonderful host, who is taking care for his guests, walking between the tables not only to ask every guest whether everything is done well, but also is ready for a little chat, during the meals are served within a reasonable time. Both himself, and the quaint interior of the restaurant, created a unique athmosphere, which made our visit unforgettable.Last but not least the very tasty and authentic polish dishes, cooked like by "Mama". We will never forget the selection of herring platter, marinated in various thrilling tastes like garlic, or sherry, or dried plum, or ginger-honey... Mouthwatering memories just while writing this. But also the other starters and mains are worth a visit. We had Borsch (a traditional polish soup) and fresh zander soup, Just Yummy! And so were our roasted doradas with tomatoes and eggplants, our cod fillet with grilled vegetables, and our grilled lamb with zucchini, celery, tomatoes and dumplings. After diner, the all friendly owner showed us around in his restaurant, with a lot of both interesting and funny paintings, some antiquities. We are so glad we found this wonderful place, and have recommended to our best friends already. We can't wait to come back, next time visiting Szczecin again.

A good surprise choice for first night in Szczecin. Pumpkin soup was delicious, with sour hibiscus accent and roast pumpkin seeds. Duck sous vide in black currant sauce, also excellent. Large portions of potatoes or dumplings alongside main dishes, consider splitting an order, or accepting gracefully your early death from obesity. The English menu says "Goose Gizzard" but it's mostly Goose Liver, which is fine with me. It was also excellent. No room for dessert, or breakfast the next day.

Went here with three friends and we really enjoyed our dinner. Pan Marek, our waiter, had good suggestions for us. The local bass as a starter was delicious.I had golonka (pork knuckle) stuffed with prunes and it was really tasty. The restaurant has a great selection of venison dishes. Nice local beers on tap, too.

The best beer in Poland 2016 ! Delicious regional cuisine, great atmosphere, unique gothic vaults. Visit us!
While not old, the building housing this property and the buildings surrounding are a colorful delight. We thoroughly enjoyed a lunch of Polish Soup and a cheese platter with delicious homemade garlic bread sticks (enough for four hungry people!)! It was so delightful outside but while visiting the lav, I took the picture I'm attaching - thw dining and bar area definitely provided a lovely atmosphere for a chilly day or evening!
