In town for the Brazil quarter final WorldCup match, my friends ,(who also flew to town for the game) picked this restaurant as the best option in town to eat Tatar food.Although we walked in without reservations, we managed to get a table after some nice begging. The ambiance is great, nicely decorated et all.The food is good, not excellent, just good enough. As starters we shared hummus (definitely had better elsewhere) and salad. For main, I got a grilled seabass which was good but the meal did not feel Tatar at all as nothing we had was different from the usual Mediterranean type of food. Maybe we did not order the right stuff. They were busy and the service was very slow. But when we complained about the delay, they were very apologetic and gave us complimentary vodka shots - which was very nice.Staff's English was limited so they were not able to explain questions on the menu. Still a very nice evening out in Kazan.

Trendy place, which can be called a bar, and a restaurant, and even a summer cottage in the city center! For those who are in a hurry and likes to manage your time with style and fun!
I was very disappointed by this place. First of all after I entered I expected to meet a hostess or host to show me the table or something else. Not at all. There were barmen and two waitress in front of me, keeping silence... Ok, I found myself a seat and got a menu... I seat about 15 minutes, though I asked for two minutes for making order. Ok... First I got tartar. It was surely very good, but they pot it on a cheapest type of crispy cracker from ordinary store. It was the strange company and it killed the real taste of tartar. Second was a soup. It was really bad. The ingredients however were pretty good as in the previous case, but using of spices in such a manner is a crime, they killed all the taste of seafood. The third meal - fish however was good, only I cannot find a meaning of grilled whole lemon in the meal. And the fish was served in a little plate with no place for bones etc.It was bad experience. Will never return here, I hope...

As a tourist without Russian spoken, It is not really easy to find a rest with local food. When walking along the famous walking street, I found lots of people went to this Rest. Then I decided to follow them. It was just like buffet, quite easy for me to see what I wanted to try. Lots of choices, meatballs meat cake salads soups kinds of local food (I do not the name). Finally I got salad x 1, meat cake X1, panned potatoes X1, local food (ban?) X1, yogurt x1, cheesecake x1, hot lemon tea X1, you can't believe how much I had paid for them, only 138rub! Less than 2 euro! And the food was somehow delicious. For sure, the surrounding was a bit crowded and noisy, and long queue when eating time. But you can't ask more with such cheap price and reasonable quality local food. I do recommend it!

Youâd think that having exact schedule of matches a good restaurant woukd be ready, well, unfortunately this one is not. Came here for breakfast st 8:30 on the match day. The places was full, waiters running around like headless chicken, forgetting orders, mixing things up, not able to communicate with the kitchen. At 10 we still did not have 60% of what we orderdd and the shift of waiters has changed. We had to chase the new shift to get what we ordered. By 11 we finally left. Food quality was OK - local pastry very good, fried eggs - nothing special, eggs benedict turned out to be almost a hardboiled egg on a couple of dry panckakes. Overall rather dissapointing

The manager Anastasia is exceptional and they are very lucky to have such an amazing manager who did everything to ensure we had the best experience in the restaurant. As Australians who couldn't speak any Russian, she guided us through the menu and recommended Russian specialities that were delicious and we never would have chosen without her guidance. She helped celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary with a gift from the hotel and wonderful desserts. She makes the restaurant 5 stars with her welcoming, professional, warm attitude and knowledge. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Kazan.Dear our Australian family! We are very grateful for this wonderful review! We realize you have many options for lodging when you travel and we appreciate that you have chosen DoubleTree by Hilton Kazan. Also we are very proud of our team, your feedback is priceless. Such kind of guests, as your family inspire us and leave warm memories. Thank you again! We look forward to seeing your family soon in our hotel. Kind regards, general manager, Svetlana Nekhaeva.
