We spent 2 1/2 hours here. Our server was pleasant and attentive at first, we tried to order ribs and cabbage rolls but both were sold out. The server recommended pork tenderloin (ordered medium) and beef tenderloin (ordered medium) as alternatives, and we agreed. He returned several times in the next hour to apologize for our food not being ready while other tables' orders (mostly soup and pizza) arrived. I got my pork tenderloin 20 minutes before my husband's beef. It was very well done - like dust. My husband was worried that his beef would also be overcooked but it was raw on the inside. Weirdly it was not bloody and juicy, like you might expect from a rare order, which would have been understandable. It was like someone squeezed every bit of juice out, scorched the outside, and left dry uncooked flesh on The inside. It was served on a bed of dry garlic toast that did not moisten when you cut into the meat, which typically would bleed if rare! The flesh was cold, raw but dry inside! The server apologized for it, but then came back and said he never had a problem with the food and left our bill. We could not pay by card and 20 percent service charge was included. We waited 25 minutes for him to come get the cash and finally got up to track him down ourselves. We are in Zarnesti 3 more nights and won't give them a second chance. Everyone else we saw in there was ordering pizza or soup which might be okay, but I am not interested to try again.

This is the worst place I've ever visited in Bran. 20 minutes to place a order (the terrace was half empty), 50 minutes to receive the order (the food was really bad - undercooked and chewy), 20 minutes to receive the check - so almost 2 hours for nothing. I really don't recommed this place. I ate here in 2016-2017 and nothing changed...

Had lunch with friends at the place, main reason being the good reviews. On the positive side the place is in a nice location, close to the Bran castle parking lots, has a beautiful terrace plus very nice indoor decorations.Another positive aspect, the staff polite and willing to help out. We've chosen a number of different dishes, yet the food itself was average or below. Another negative aspect are the restrooms, which are definitely something to avoid. All in all a place where you could have a something to eat, but not something that you'd do twice.

I stopped by at Popasul Reginei Restaurant several times in the past few years with groups between 4 and 20. They typically have fast service and the prices are for all pockets. Not to mention that it's just accross the main street from the yard of the Bran Castle.

The Traditional Sheepfold restaurant is situated on the top of the hill, offering a spectacular view of the Bran Castle and the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains. The décor is all rustic, with wooden logs encased in the walls, two hanging fireplaces, i
We were on a tour to Peles, Bran Castle, and Brasov and stopped here for lunch. Everything was good once we got an English menu. Our tour driver's English was limited, and without pictures, I coud not figure out most of the Romanian words. I chose the Chicken Schnitzel with Cheese Sauce & Mushrooms. My other half had the cabbage rolls with Polenta. We both had Coke Zero and water to drink. All was good, and the prices weren't too bad. It was a hike to/from the parking lot but was nice to have a good lunch in a clean place where many locals were eating on their vacation. I recommend if you're in the area and touring Dracula's castle.

We came to Bran Chalet for the first time to get breakfast, it was satisfying and cheap, only 28 Lei per person including a hot beverage(tea or coffee). Because we enjoyed the atmosphere at breakfast so much we reserved a place for dinner and was not disappointed, the waiter was very kind and a great showman. We had a wonderful 3 course dinner including a bottle of a good Romanian wine for about 300 Lei, and our weiter added a few complimentary Plinka shots (local schnapps). The restaurant has direct view of the Bran castle, which is beautifully lit at night. Very Romantic place.

You couldnât ask for a better location. It took less than 10 minutes to get to Draculaâs castle on foot. We parked our car and left it parked all weekend because we could get everywhere on foot. The staff treat you like family, literally. My fiancé left a hat in his room after we checked out and the staff called within less than 5 minutes to let us know. I have never seen a hotel do that in my life. The people that work here are so honest. We didnât want the hat so we told him it was our gift and he said the hat would be waiting on us for our next visit. That was the sweetest thing ever to say. The breakfast was good and they even have made to order omelettes, just ask the waiter. They have free Romanian liquor at the front desk and you can help yourself to as much as you want. The beds were super comfy and the views of the mountains were picturesque. I loved our stay here and wonât stay anywhere else in Bran. Highly recommend this charming place!!!!! Absolutely fantastic!

You pay the bread by the slice but you get half of slices, hen soup with no meat in it, all the vegetables were badly peeled off, very good taste, though .Can pay by credit card.Average to good food, fair service.

Romanian cuisine greatly crafted by our skilled Chefs placed in a quiet area surrounded by threes . You can serve breakfast, lunch and dinner inside or outside on our beautiful fully surrounded by flowers
We went there in a late afternoon and the place was easy to find. Only a small drawback: the parking lot can be misplaced since it is not properly highlighted. The waitress was very nice and helpful regarding the dishes since we were not very determined to pick one.In the end, we kicked BBQ-ed vegetables and mushrooms and fried mutton meat with garlic. At the beginning, she offered us some homemade palinka. The food was extraordinary and the service was quick. The meat was soft, well done and very tasty. Also the vegetables were very tasty. We recommend this restaurant and we will come back if the case.
