We were a group of thirteen people and De Hongerige Wolf helped us to set up a table so that we would all be comfortable sitting together. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Then there was the food, it was delicious and felt really fresh. I can honestly recommend this place to anyone who comes across it!Thank you!

I met up with some friends here. We had a quick bite with Coffee. You can sit inside or outside...awesomely situated near shops and other restaurants. Pui has a restaurant, snack bar and also does catering. Homemade fries are just delicious
Na een lange cursus dag wilden we graag lekker eten. En voeden i.p.v. vullen. We kregen elk 3 prachtige kleine toetjes. Echt super. Wat een service. En het personeel was super vriendelijk, gezellig en kundig. Zoân fijne avond gehad na een lange dag. Dankjullie wel!!

We visited our friends in ommen, and they invited here to celebrate birthday. Staff was very friendly and very patient to our different requests. We were with two baby - 1.2 year and 10 months old. Our friends recommend this restaurant for mussels. And it is worth to try. There are 8 different kind of recipes. We choose 4. And it's was more than enough. Two bottles of rose come in places as well. The food was good, but a little bit slow. According to our friends that was quit unusual. But any way we fully enjoyed our evening, and food. Looking forward to get here once again

We have visited this restaurant several times between July and December 2017. The owner is a hipster with a a penchant for detail due to running a restaurant in the Caribean for many years before taking over this one earlier in the year. Menu is a small one but the choice is excellent. Service is good but can be a bit slow on a warm day when it is very busy on the terrace on the riverside. This is not a problem. The bar serves an excellent choice of beers, amongst others from local microbreweries. Very pleasant experience.

This cozy restaurant/coffee house has a wonderful "dag menu". You are able to select from different courses. It is not fixed like most of the "dag menus". Service is friendly and efficient. Make sure you make a reservation, specially in the summer time, it gets quite busy. Afterwards enjoy the very well know and best soft ice of the region!

Very good salads and they have a very nice menu. They have a nice terrace, their Cappuccino is not good!. Service is a bit slow but friendly.

After the desultory welcome by the receptionist on a Friday evening the rest was excellent. Lovely dining room and attentive dining room staff. We had a scallop starter and mozerella starter which were very good. The main cod with tapenade was under seasoned but the sole was superb. Very good wine. Slightly expensive but worth it.

Just moved to Ommen and trying out the local restaurants. We came across this one purely by chance as many restaurants are closed on Mondays. This one is open seven days a week and attached to a delightful hotel. The food was above expectation and the ambiance is also excellent.A la carte or a 3 or 5 course menu are possible. You'd think it worthy of a Michelin star but I guess the chef is just very, very good.

Oude postkantoor van Ommen
The service started very slow, after I got the wine menu it took at least 15 minutes before I could order the chosen bottle. It got better further through the meal. I started with the salmon trio, smoked, marinated, and tartare. The smoked salmon was perfect, still very juicy inside. The tartare a bit too salt.My wife had the goat cheese marbe, a too big chunck of goat cheese, with too little of the promised apple. As main I had the BBQ ribs woth sweet BBQ sauce. And indeed the ribs were sweet and lacked any other flavor, a disappointment. My wife had seabase and pasta, the fish was ok, the pasta a bit dull.Prices reasonable, we spent â¬90.
