We went here on friday over noontime with our son, 1,5 yo.The restaurant is in a lovely farm style, staff is very friendly. I choose the large meat brochette. The meat was grilled to perfection. Excellent seasoning and matching vegetables. For children they had special portions and a spdcial menu. I was very pleased to see this, you rarely see this in a restaurant. We were very happy and had a great time together!

Came here by accident. They made publicity with the suggestion of the day: quiche with leak and grey Belgian shrimps. This quiche was already made before and reheated. This made the shrimps taste like rubber. Also the leak was dark green so they take about everything of the leak not just the white and light green parts. The schrimp cakes were also not artisanaal like they mention in the menu... Salad had brown parts, fries were not baked well, no mayonnaise with the fries. Dirty fork and knive. Will not come back here, 34 euros down the drain. And they tried to put an extra euro in their pocket too when they gave the change back when we paid the bill???

Wanting to take pictures of the magnificent sunset on Ostendâs waterfront, we diverted from our usual route of turning right onto the promenade and turned left instead, towards the sun. We were looking for somewhere to eat and found this charming little restaurant called Othello. We were given some very tasty tapenade and fresh bread as a taster to begin with, as standard to have with our drinks. Then onto the starter. To say that the scallops I had were the most delicious and tender Iâve ever had would be an understatement. They were utterly superb. We then went onto mussels in white wine for me, and beef for my husband. The mussels were divine, and my husband reports that the meat was really tender and tasty.Dessert was Creme Brûlée for him and ice cream for me. Both absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant. It would be advisable to book ahead. We had not booked, and they did accommodate us, but it was full. An absolute gem of a find and we would come again. It is pricey, but we donât mind paying for quality. For drinks and three courses each the bill amounted to about â¬120.00.The service was good too and the owners very attentive. Given that the position of the restaurant is a little bit away from the main thoroughfare, it was full nevertheless, and worthy of walking just that little but further west to find it. There is a step up from the pavement, but if someone were being pushed in a wheelchair I think the wheelchair could be lifted up the step. One couple had a little dog with them who had its own seat. They allow well behaved dogs into restaurants in Belgium. Not sure if they all do, but Iâve noticed a number of them seem to allow it.

No-nonsense filosophy. You constantly see the owner/chef in the fully open kitchen. Fresh fish counter. Restaurant and fish shop in one.
I'd be hard put to choose between this place and Bistr'o'bergine, just across the road; both offer excellent dining experiences. Not too much choice on the menu, but then in my experience this is a good sign that the kitchen offers fresh produce and doesn't overstretch itself. Fish soup had a rich depth of flavour - aniseed (pastis?) and tomato - and lots of chunky, tasty fish. The chef's speciality of ray was simply and beautifully cooked and presented.Smallish restaurant, elegantly furnished, and with a nice seating area for drinks before/after your meal. The kitchen is almost part of the restaurant, behind a counter, so you can watch everything going on, if you wish. Service friendly and professional. We're grateful to hear that you enjoyed your meal in our restaurant.

Very nice setting and friendly host. The menu is very limited, not an ideal place to go with kids. We ordered the fish, which was really good. Something that surprised me was that it didn't come with any vegetables...

The elegant seaside resort De Haan is known for its beauty and authenticity. Relaxing and relaxing there are no empty concepts. In the center of all that rest is breakfast home / tearoom Beaufort, at the time as one of the first villas built in De Haan, n
A great spot to stop for coffee - not so sure about the cake!We rested here while waiting for a tram. Great view of this part of town - outdoor seating - very clean (nice toliets!).We ordered Iced Coffee and cake. The iced coffee came with cream we specifically asked to not have. The cake was a bit dry and boring. However, it was all glitzed up with 'party effects' and looked like an event! We appreciated the presentation.Service was a bit slow and haphazard. A whacking service charge was added to the bill. Not sure if it was overall good value for money - but I would probably go back and try the main menu.Thank you for the review. It is not always clear to us what you mean, but we mainly remember that you are likely to come back. Always welcome !
