Did a tasting of three of their products -- two bourbons and one gin. Excellent products. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and fun. We bought a bourbon and a gin for us, and we got maple bourbon for a friend. We also purchased their Bourbon Maple Syrup, an item we've had before. Wonderful on pancakes. Peaceful, pastoral setting. Lots of parking. Taste three items for $15. Small bags of chips available, but no food or snacks -- the only weakness. We will go back.

Over 230 years ago, the story of our distillery began with the construction of the Tuthilltown Gristmill, a testament to New York ingenuity. Now it plays host to another New Yorker, Ralph Erenzo, who made whiskey in the state for the first time since Prohibition. That bold, pioneering spirit permeates every part of our craft. Our home is where innovation, collaboration, art, and exploration converge. It's where New York converges too. Our 36 acres are situated on the outer fringe of the New York metropolitan area, at the foot of the Shawangunk Mountains, in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We're inspired by all of it, from the bright lights of Broadway to the Hudson Valley's scenic views. Discover the natural beauty of our home, and join us for a tour, guided tasting, or cocktail workshop to get a taste of the way we do things.
If you like whiskey, this is the place to come and have some tastings. The place is nice, cozy, the drinks are great and the people and service is great. They have a bar on sight so you can have cocktails with their whiskey. Our bartender, Nick, made for us some really good drinks. You need to try the Bear Skin Rug or the Cowboy Coffee, they are amazing cocktails. Thank you Nick for the GREAT cocktails!

Honestly if you are in the Albany area you have to try out the tour. It’s rare that you find a owner that’s passionate about his craft as well as warming the hearts of people! One of the owners conducts the tours and is extremely down to earth and welcoming. We just finished our tour and I had to write a review. Make it a point to learn about the process of bottling bourbon, vodka and/or whiskey. Whether you understand the process or not you will be captivated and informed. Then afterwards you will enjoy a variety of tasting ; as well as having the option to purchase what the bar has to offer. I look forward to future visits at the bar as well as what’s in store for the wood fire pizza etc. great place and great people. From my girlfriend and I, thank you for a pre Valentine’s Day gift

There is a decent amount of parking on the side road and across the street of the cidery. There is a great deck/porch area for the summer. Huge variety of ciders and not overwhelmingly sweet. I didn't try all of them, but the earl grey tea was my favorite. It was not overly tea-like. There is a slight hint of tea, but there is a clear apple taste to it. I have had other tea ciders and they were too heavy on the tea. My favorite by far!

I organized a tasting for a bachelorette party of 6. We were warmly greeted and the distillery was ready for our party right away. We had our tasing in the small bar area which was very clean and well decorated. Jennifer led our tasting and was very knowledgeable about the liquors and very friendly. This was my first time doing a spirit tasting and I really enjoyed it. It was a good value to do the tasting, you get to try all 4 spirits and a tasting size cocktail. After the tasting we hung out in the large outdoor patio, it is dog friendly and properly distanced. The bar inside serves spirits from the distillery as well as other local beer, wines and ciders. A perfect Hudson valley afternoon activity! I highly recommend the applejack spirit and the cocktails made with it!

The distilllery and tasting room staff are so knowledgeable about the product and every aspect that goes into it. They are talented with the drinks that they create and are always welcoming to questions and conversation. The craft spirits they farm and distill are such high quality they can most often be enjoyed in a glass with some ice.

A very Rustic barn serves as a tasting room. Very comfortable surrounding in which Christopher will explain the old fashioned process from growing crops to making sour mash. Knowing It is so involved , it makes the products even more desirable. Should be on one's bucket list to taste and visit the property. I'll be back again and again with friends.
