Fantastic restaurant on the outskirts of St. Gallen with amazing views over Lake Constance. In terms of experience, this was probably one of the best restaurants with quality organic ingredients and also great service. The restaurant was very busy for both breakfast and lunch and we could not get seating outside on the terrace, but you can still get amazing views from inside the restaurant. The salad buffet has a perfect and generous variety of options (we recommend the potato salad which was a big hit) along with the cured ham and cheese. For lunch we had organic breaded chicken and chips made by the head chef who was very accommodating. I would strongly recommend this restaurant and terrace for entertaining business clients and also for leisure purposes. Thanks to Edin and the team!

This restaurant had incredible regional food, cooked brilliantly and accompanied by amazing local and European wines. When we requested a dessert that was lactose and nut free, they were more than happy to offer a pear gelato that was not offered on the menu.Attentive service, amazing atmosphere and incredible food - highly recommended stopping here for dinner anytime

The surroundings are beautiful, rural and quiet. The building is just beautiful and the restaurant cosy and warm. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and the staff had an instinctive feeling for our needs and didn't try to rush. Good wine list!

As a lebanese and a big lover of Lebanese cuisine, I can definitely recommend this restaurant. The buffet on Thursday, Friday and Saturday is the best option you have for a quality price food. The 'loubye b zeit' is simply amazing, it reminded me of my mom food. I definitely recommend it. If you are in St. Gallen, do not miss it.

Nektar is one of the best Sushi places in St.Gallen. Sushi is made fresh in front of you and served very quickly. The staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is also very nice. We aware that on evenings on weekends the restaurant is usually quite full, so a reservation would be usefull!Prices are quite high though.. 18 CHF for 8 rather small California Sushis is quite a lot...

Can't say anything about the rooms because I didn't stay there, but the restaurant downstairs is very convenient for the train station (it's just opposite - and they don't mind if you park your luggage under the table), and they serve excellent St Gallen bratwurst. Not at all expensive. N.B. Bratwurst is typical of St Gallen. They eat it all the time. It's usually sold from kiosks, but of course if you get it from a kiosk you can't sit down. You can have it with chips or bread. Never, ever put mustard on your bratwurst in St Gallen.

This is a nice restaurant for family dinners and luncheons. The outside seating area (in the summer) is very casual. Inside the decor is very nice. most tables are set for larger groups. We have been here twice- once with a pre-set menu for a large group and just recently for a family lunch. Both were good. This recent visit, there was 8 people and we were given the full menu as well as the special Rosti menu. 6 of us opted for one of the Rosti specials and they were all good. The other items ordered were salads, Bratwurst plate, hamburger and desserts. Everything was very good.Dear GuestThank you very much for your review. Recommended by the hotel (Sorell) we enjoyed an excellent dinner in a very cozy, busy and plenty of energy place.Very friendly, multilingual and fast staff. Food was delicious, good wine list and reasonable price. Maybe because it was packed, we found it a bit too noisy. Seems to be a very popular place in St.Gallen.
