I stopped here for dinner on a road trip. From the outside, it looks like a portable office for a construction company.Inside, it looks like a typical truck stop. It's clean and comfortable.I ordered the chicken cordon bleu special. It was really good, and it was massive. Three chicken breasts stuffed with ham and cheese, then topped with a cheese sauce. I ate one piece of chicken and took the rest to go.The staff was friendly and the bathroom was clean.I would definitely stop here again.

6 in our party. Nice variety on the menu. Able to get breakfast at 11:30am. Two of us had omelets, others had not roast beef sandwiches, Turkey dinner. We were very pleased with the great service and fast arrival of ourfood. Will definitely go there again!

83 Diner is a family owned diner with that has been established for more than 30 years. Breakfast is served anytime, the food is homemade, and the service is fast and friendly! 83 Diner is open everyday of the year except Christmas Day. It is located off
Have seen the roadside billboards for the I-83 Diner for many years as we traveled this highway and finally were in the area at the right time to try it out. We were pleasantly greeted and seated. Booths, tables or lunch-counter seating arrangements are available. The menu is quite typical of a truck stop with selections of 'comfort' food and some variety of steaks and seafood. We sampled the 8-oz hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and Cole slaw. The hamburger steak was grilled and OK. The Cole slaw was comparatively dry and lacked flavor. The other entree (breakfast items served all day) was a cheese omelet. This too was 'dry' and lacked flavor. Portions were certainly adequate given the reasonable prices for the food. Restroom was OK.

I stopped in with my teenage son after a soccer trip. We were really hungry. It wasn't too crowded, but they took a long time to seat us. Then we were served but nobody was friendly and the food was only blah. So we will not be back again.

What a great find. This place has the best breakfast around. The room is small but the food is large. Kids had chocolate chip pancakes and they are huge. Two eggs, hash browns with maple sausage was for a working man breakfast. Food was excellent and the coffee was good and hot. If you are in area for a flight and need breakfast it is just up the road from Harrisburg Airport on 230 thus the name 230 cafe.

I was drawn here for âthe ropeâ sausage since American Dream Diner went downhill. It was very clean, the food was good, as was the service. My only complaint was the very obvious presence of the owners, which is always awkward. We will return, but itâs not high on my list. At 10:00 on a Saturday morning we did not have to wait, which was a plus.

We came to the area to compete in local dog agility trials, so we returned to our hotel late each night. We tried Johns Diner the first evening of our stay because it was conveniently near to our hotel. We liked our food so much that we came back for the next two evenings. We liked the cleanliness, the fast, friendly service and the comfort food. Everything we had was tasty and plentiful. Recommend the stuffed shells, the bleu bacon burger, the shishkebab and the tuna salad melt. Guarantee you won't leave hungry! They also bake their own desserts, which looked fabulous. We were too full with dinner to try them, but other customers said that their desserts were generous and delicious. We would definately go back to Johns Diner if we make another trip to the area.

Friendly people. It's a diner with simple fare at cheap prices. It's not quite a four rating but it's better than average and our waitress was very pleasant. Breakfast was good.
