2. Last days of the Romanovs Private tour and unique visit to Europe-Asia border
This excursion will acquaint you with the history of Romanov family in Yekaterinburg and details their tragic death. You will visit the Monastery dedicated to the family of the last Tsar. The Monastery is located on the spot where the Bolsheviks tried to hide the Romanov’s corpses in a secret grave. Today, this area is a well-known Russian Orthodox pilgrimage site. After visiting this site, you will head to the monument of the border of Europe & Asia, which is located at the point where these 2 great continents meet. We booked for the Swan Lake ballet on 25 December 2019, with travel date on 24 May 2020, through U Visit Russia. . Due to the Covit19 pandemic we were unable to visit Russia nor attend the ballet. Two tickets were purchased for US$465.50. U Visit Russia was advised of not being able to attend and agreed to pay a full refund but there would be a delay due to the number of cancellations. After some time no refund was forthcoming and U Visit Russia was again contacted by email and we were advised that due to the volume of cancellations the refund would be credited to our credit card within 9 weeks. Nothing and again they were contacted by email but no response was ever received. No refund was ever received. Nothing!! The lesson is to beware of ever dealing with this company.

Greg was an incredible guide who spoke excellent English and was very friendly. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire tour. The ice cave was scenic with many Russian folk tales associated, as well as significant history. Greg provided these historical and interesting facts in English so we could enjoy a properly curated experience. Greg went above and beyond to ensure we received a satisfying cultural experience by taking us to a very local restaurant with delicious food, and further recommending additional culinary venues for the remainder of our stay in Ekaterinburg.

This tour covers significant spots of Romanov dinasty and a geographical monument standing in between Europe and Asia, so effectively within four hours. My family a group of 3 enjoyed comfortably without stress at all. Our guide Alexandra was greatly knowledgeable with perfect command of English. And the friendly car driver brought us to those spots with spacious Toyota car. Ekaterinburg is an industrial city, but we enjoyed fully as tourist thanks to Alexandra. It is a must in Ekaterinburg and highly recommended!!
5. Chelyabinsk hot springs
Hello! We are going to famous thermal springs! Just look at these pictures and imagine how amazing it will be - You are in open swimming pool with 40 degrees hot water. Outside temperature is 20 degrees below zero and snow is falling on you through a steam cloud. Breathtaking experience.

A very positive experience. I felt very reassured with all of the information received and the handling of the visa which was particularly easy via Go Russia in Germany. No glitches with the pick ups and no delays with the guides. First trip to Russia and I was impressed, so much so that I would book with Go Russia again when I eventually travel back and see more of the country. Julia from Go Russia was extremely competent and helpful.
