Signagi or Sighnaghi (Georgian: სიღნაღი) is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Signagi Municipality. Although it is one of Georgia's smallest towns, Signagi serves as a popular tourist destination due to its location at the heart of Georgia's wine-growing regions, as well as its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Located on a steep hill, Signagi overlooks the vast Alazani Valley, with the Caucasus Mountains visible at a distance.

Georgia is located in the most favorable zone for the development of viticulture and winemaking. The presence of a huge number of various indigenous varieties of the vine also indicates that Georgia is the center of the formation of wild and cultivated grapes. The wine-making equipment found during excavations in the country, namely stone presses, grapes crushers, various wine vessels belonging to 3–2 millennia BC, confirm that even in those times winemaking was an important branch of the economic activity of the Georgian people. In the 9th century AD In the ancient Georgian city of Ikalto, one of the world's first educational academies was established, where along with such disciplines as philosophy, Greek and Latin, students studied winemaking as a separate subject Excursion to one of the most beautiful cities of Georgia- Sighnaghi. From the city opens a view of the Caucasus Mountains and the Alazani valley. Visit the monastery Bodbe. Wine tasting in the wine cellar in Sighnaghi

We just returned from TBilisi, and Megi made sure everything went perfectly. We had my 18 yo daughter who was born in TBilisi, myself, and her 3 grandparents 74, 76, and 80! Teimiraz was the BEST guide and Melvud was an excellent driver. We didn’t have to worry about anything. From picking up and taking to the airport, to dinner recommendations and reservations, everything was managed so well! We loved our trip and can’t wait to return! I highly recommend this company!!

Should be a ZERO rating if possible. I have no clue how this could happen. I booked this tour 2 weeks in advance. They contacted me and confirmed the tour right after. Then, they contacted me 2 days before the tour saying that where we were supposed to go where closed. (Vardzia and Rabati), and they asked me to reschedule or cancel the tour before I get charged the cancellation fee. So here are the problems; 1. The place was NOT closed (We ended up going with a different tour company). Besides, even if it was, how can they notice that 2 days before the tour? 2. Absolutely NO apology from them (they were like, "we have an issue, so modify the date or cancel before you get charged.") It was 2 days before the tour, and we were already in Georgia, leaving the day after the tour. I don't understand how they expected us to modify the dates this last min. 3. No response for hours after sending in the email to request a different tour to go around instead. After notifying us 2 days before the tour, I expected them to respond quickly. So, go somewhere else for this tour. Not worth the risk.

Our trip guided by David was perfect! David knows and loves so much about Georgia and is so happy to share it with you. It made me love Georgia, too. He is very responsible and a lot of fun and he let us decide much about how we want that trip to be, in order to give us the best experience. The trip during winter was just amazing with everything so white in the mountains, covered in snow, and the peace at Gergeti Trinity Church, the monestaries we stoped at, the changing views besides the road (the water reservoir, the wild river, then the mountains...), the Georgian lunch we had, the breathtaking view at the friendship monument.
