Kanika was the perfect guide - knowledgeable, chatty (just enough) and reassuring (India can be daunting). The tour itself was the perfect length and was also the ideal mix of cultural and historic. Hi Sharma ji, I had planned this trip to make my first marriage anniversary memorable. Have made all bookings and waiting from more than 2 months. Because of drastic increase in covid cases in Delhi during divali and formers protest I was in big tension and in confusion whether to travell or not. It was at high risk and not sure about anything till the last minute. But starting from when I book the cab to last hour of our onboard to trip you made it flawless without small error. We were safe And didn’t face single issue throughout the trip. Our driver Dharmendra Sharma was very cool and Happy person. He took care of us a lot and he was very friendly and gave many suggestions while visiting monuments. His driving is awesome. Only for the ones that wants to really see Pune intimately. The walking tour through the heart of downtown Pune. My tour guide Gaurav had many good local stories as well as good knowledge of local Pune history. Some of the sites visited are actual live temples that are still in use.

I am not really a bird-watcher but instead just like to experience different cultures and get out of the city and into nature. The car ride is long and we stopped along the way on the side of the road for some coffee. The boat ride was great and we were able to see many species of birds, including flamingos and storks. There were not a lot of flamingos due to the time of year, so be thoughtful to that if that is the goal. After the sanctuary we went to a temple which was constructed with all hand carved stones - it was beautiful. Overall, great day - 8 hours total to and from hotel.
