The hike to Knuckles Mountain range was well organised by Mahaweli Tours. We were provided with a good guide who knew his way about well and we felt safe throughout the trek. We were also looked after well and enjoyed the experience. There was fun and entertainment and chatter to keep us motivated to go up the mountains and we got to experience a nice cold waterfall bath too! 5 stars to both Prasad and Ajith for providing us with this experience.

I travelled with Dush in Dec 2019. There were two of us, my husband and I. Dush was definitely safe and honest and brought us to the places that we requested and also did some recommendations along the way. We first planned our itinerary and sent him thru whatsapp on +94 773884173 so we could have a plan and discussion. He took us on a 8day 7 nights travel and it was truly fun and enjoyable. He also took us on an additional off the beat path trip to visit his old house and we met his wife and kid. An amazing experience through and through with Dush!

We traveled as a 3 couples to Sri Lanka for our very first time visit and what a success! Lahiru Our tour designer provided personalized service, making it possible for us to choose among a number of activities minimize travel time and maximize experiences. From the first email, to planning , to our final departure every move was coordinated flawlessly.He also met us in kandy when we arrived and gave us delicious dinner. checked in with us regularly. The itinerary was perfectly matched to our interests and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.We loved the entire trip, The Sri Lankan food were more than memorable. We loved our cooking class along with the fun food tour. We were fortunate to be privately escorted by our guide, who was as engaging as he was knowledgeable and found ways to enhance each stop we made and scenic drive we took. Our guide arranged our wonderful meals, taking into consideration our dietary preferences and tastes and always finding the best pastries along the way. The van was very comfortable and clean too. Skyhaven Tours isn't the cheapest company out there,They are small , professional tour operators and also I have no doubt that it's the best. It was very clear from everyone that the most important thing to them was that we have the best trip possible, and they delivered in every way. If you want to travel to Sri Lanka , this small company is the only way I would go! We will surely return, as there is so much to see and do. Cheers

Quite adventurous tour, spiced up by heavy rain at times. Very good job by the tour guide, experienced and keeps the right pace. The tour is demanding but it is well worth while. Well off the beaten track. It is very hard to summarize the beauty of the whole journey...luxuriously green paddy fields, quaint villages, Buddhist monasteries, tropical plantations all over the steep hills, plenty of wild life, such as deer and colorful exotic birds, as one moves up...then comes the pristine rain forest of Knuckles, crisscrossed by water falls. This journey is not for the heart fainted though. Unlike other touristy sites i did not come across hoards of tourists...maybe a handful of hikers ...which was awesome.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely polite and friendly and I just want to say that, in addition to awesome food, we had a delightful waiter, “Dhanushka”. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He recognized that we wanted time to visit and made certain that we had everything we needed.

Tigers, Elephants and big game had obviously taken the day off. We saw Peter Rabbit and his family, a tortoise breaking the land speed record, monkeys, spotted deer, a land monitor and a crocodile that was so far away that it could have been just a fallen tree. The road was bumpy and perhaps our squeaking vehicle frightened the animals away. We actually saw more animals - a whole herd of elephants, while driving from point to point.

I just got back from a 8 night trip.to.Sri Lanka and was super.amazed by Mr Thilanka from Holiday Walkers. Of course the tour was good. However what impressed me.most was , --about a week before the tour I thought I need to cancel , I had already paid 100%. Thilanka spoke to the hotel and got me a 100 percent refund !!! . We were so.impressed. However, we then proceeded with the tour as planned and had a magnificent time !
