In the culture of the Kimberley people, the Wandjina is a respected and irritable spirit, who brings water and life to a parched land. From your fixed-wing aircraft, explore the heart of the Wandjina country and marvel at the landscapes, river systems and coast that these spirits have nurtured before being welcomed to Balanggarra Country by our local custodian guide. On the ground gain insight into the history, culture and current day life in a remote Kimberley community.

Once in a lifetime experience, such a breathtaking part of the world. Our guide was so informative, clearly connected with the Kimberley area and made the tour for us. The day packs were also amazing, so thoughtfully organised. We connected with this tour from Broome and were so glad we did.

What an excellent tour. Flight from Kununurra to land on an unsealed airstrip. We were only a group of 3 so we got to go in cruiser as opposed to bus, really good. Excellent guide Dayn? Walk in the morning excellent with lots of interesting facts and features that I would never found on my own. Lovely lunch and the off for second walk. Rough underground but the chasm is amazing. If you can stick the heat and the rough ground -do it!

Echidna Chasm is a must do and Cathedral Gorge was spectacular. Pete our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the service was second to none. We flew in and stayed at Savana Lodge and the staff were very welcoming picking us up from the airstrip The dinner around the camp fire was delicious and this is one of the hidden gems in the Kimberly. Highly recommend doing it.

We don’t often do a group tour but this one was outstanding.. the whole process was well organised from the pickup to drop off. The actual cruise took us the length of the river from dam to dam and the commentary from Lucas was very informative. He was obviously very knowledgeable on the flora and fauna. The cruise had hints of the shot over - boats are purpose built and he knew the river well. Stopped frequently to explain facts about the area and even served up the afternoon tea and got a boatload of travellers back in time for spectacular sunset shots Would highly recommend this tour even for independent travellers..

Started this cruise with a lovely USA lady named Marina (all the way from Kodiak). What was our gain is Alaska and Kodiak loss. Although only 6 weeks into her role as skipper, she knew every rock or obstacle to steer clear of in the river ord. The whole cruise was fun and informative for our AATKings tour. I can’t recommend this highly enough. You have to do the late afternoon sunset cruise too, spectacular. Thanks Marina.

This is a must do experience from Kununurra to see lake Argyle on the way to the Bungle Bungles. Aviair were extremely professional from the pick up to the pre flight debrief before getting into the well equipped planes. We all had window seats for the two hour trip. The pilots, Michael and Jason, were total professionals. They told us everything and more about the whole area and when there was a little turbulence, they explained that for us too which gave us reassurance. Thanks guys ✈️????
