The star attractions of the area around Keswick are of course the Skiddaw Mountains and beautiful Derwentwater. Sports enthusiasts should plan their holiday for the month of May to take part in the Keswick Mountain Festival. If you are not a climber, you can enjoy the public parks, swimming pools and gardens of Keswick. For evening entertainment try the Theatre by the Lake or the cinema. Absolutely first class! Tim was a pleasure to have as a driver - knowledgeable, very amicable and all in all the experience was exactly as we could have hoped. My wife and I did 2x half day private tours and cannot realistically fault the trips in any way. Highly recommended - thanks to Tim for our great experience :-)

What an excellent day out! We were collected at Keswick and then taken on a fascinating trip down the best lake district passes (Honister, Hardnott and Wrynose- passes we wouldn't have attempted on our own. We stopped off at the Honister Slate Mine for toilets and refreshments before travelling onto the Ravenglass steam railway and Muncaster Castle. We had an excellent driver/guide who told us lots of facts and answered all our questions- Highly recommended but beware the trip doesn't run during the winter months.

We did this ultimate private tour with tour guide Tim. This tour is really worth the money and the convenience of being able to see around Lake district while enjoying our company with Tim. The tour itself was really nice and our tour guide was really knowledgable. He kept us awake throughout our trip and he even took good photos of us. He was friendly and all smiles. The covid restriction was kept in place and there were hand sanitisers inside the van. I have already recommended this to my friends. Well done!

We had so much fun on our first tour that we booked a second one later in the week! The first day we did Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Lacock (instead of Bath). David was very patient and easy to chat with. He even showed us the Eton area and Woodhenge. He gave us pastries when we finished Windsor Castle. We all had a lovely day. Later in the week, we did Leeds Castle, Bodiam Castle, Canterbury and White Cliffs of Dover, which was also excellent. We saw so much in those two days and David was so kind. He was like a dad, making sure we had umbrellas and that we weren't hungry. We'd definitely book another tour with him in the future.

We had a great day out with Derek. He was excellent. Sadly the weather was not pleasant, and it was hard to see a lot out the windows, but he was very knowledgeable, and we certainly saw sites we would never have known to see on our own. I would have given it 5 stars, and I don't think it was Derek's fault, but the tour included 40£ towards lunch. That was not given to us, nor mentioned. I did file a complaint, and am being refunded, so all worked out in the long run. I think it would be best to charge less money and not include lunch. Also it would be good to let clients know what town you are stopping in for lunch and they can review restaurants beforehand. Especially during covid, with many restaurants requiring bookings. Other than that - Derek receives 5 stars!
