What an excellent tour and location. Ivan (My guide) was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about the topic and personable. It was the perfect balance of history, experience and emotion to make a very memorable adventure. Safety was also never a concern of mine. Ivan made sure to keep the journey interactive while also ensuring we never ventured anywhere that might expose us, or to areas that are no longer structurally sound.

As soon as the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone opened almost a decade ago, we did our best to create the most insightful tour of the disaster. We organized plenty of individual tours of the site, so you can rest assured we will offer you the best experience. Our service is available throughout the year, while our expertise and knowledge about Chernobyl recommend us as one of the best Chernobyl tour operators. If you’re interested in a one-day tour to Chernobyl for individual tourists, here’s what you need to know. Chernobyl tour is safe! The first question we get asked is whether or not the Chernobyl tour is safe. The answer supported by both the scientists and the Geiger-Muller counters is yes. The radiation level in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone upon a day spent on site will not exceed the 4% of the daily nuclear power plant safety regulations of the EU. To make an accurate idea about this, this represents the same amount of radiation you will get from a four-hour intercontinental flight.

My friends, who are fond of traveling, when they found out that I am on business in Ukraine, advised me to visit Chernobyl. I had a day off and decided on this adventure. This tour exceeded all my expectations! Excursion to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is one of the most exciting experiences for every adventurer, traveler, and photographer. The tour was well organized: the meeting place was easy to find. During a two-hour trip by bus from Kyiv, which took us to the exclusion zone, we were provided with information about the history of the tragedy and the safety rules that must be followed. Volodya's guide coordinated with other groups so we wouldn't have to cross paths and could take pictures without people. It was a very impressive, exciting, and informative tour. And safe. I saw a very special world and learned a lot about the Chernobyl disaster, as well as people's lives until 1986. The trip to Chernobyl helped me to understand more deeply how the world I live in, to rethink my life from a broader perspective, and hopefully change it for the better.

You have lots of options for tour companies to chernobyl but this is the best company to go with. From pick up to drop off, they did a great job of making sure we saw chernobyl, the towns, the lunch, Duga radar etc. Company was on time for pick up, showed us everything, did not rush us, provided authentic Soviet lunch, and dropped us off in Kyiv Alina was my tour guide on May 9 2021 and she was very friendly, informative and really connected with us 5 stars.
