Today Casablanca is a large, modern city, but the former French colonial post still allows myriad movie moments for those who want to revisit love in the medina and Old City. Casa (as locals call it) isn’t too touristy, but it’s the most cosmopolitan and Western-feeling city in Morocco. Visit The King Hassan II Mosque and Casa's Medina.

We did a shore excursion from Casablanca to Marrakech, professional driver, always following the speed limit, guide covered everything that we ask for. Good communication by email or whatsapp. The people from the ship who stayed in Casablanca complained a lot, not a good place to spend the day. So take the tour and enjoy Marrakech.

We joined another couple for our adventure from Casablanca to Fez. We were one of the first off the cruise ship and alas, no driver. The agent standing by the Viator sign called and our driver said he would be there by 10:00. NO He was to be there at 7:00. You must leave immediately to get to Fez and back so as not to miss the ship. We were then told to take a taxi to the gate to save time. We did and our husbands went to each car to see it it was the driver. We made phone calls and the taxi took us to another gate. NO DRIVER. We saw no sign with our name and we searched to find him for at least an hour. Twice our husbands walked up and down trying to find anyone that was a representative of Viator. NO ONE. We finally gave up and the taxi took us to Rabat. It was a most unfortunate and disappointing experience. It is now compounded by Viator refusing to refund our money. If Viator would like the name of the person who booked the tour and the reference number, I can provide that. The person who booked the tour has had no success in obtaining a refund and says that they will not even accept her phone calls now. Shame on them. How could they pay a driver who didn't show up at the appropriate place or time or take us to Fez? They now have a few hundred dollars to line their pockets with. Not recommended at all.

The entire Tour exceeded my expectations. Azis was a great and patient driver. This tour was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip, We were picked up at our agreed location. We toured Aiit Ben Haddou with an awesome guide by the name of Mohan (spelling). We had plenty of time for pictures once we arrived. we had a delicious lunch on a rooftop with beautiful views. we then headed out to our overnight stay and the rooms were already set up for us. The food was AMAZING. We had a great night stay with beautiful views. The following day was the highlight of our trip. We rode on camels to our camp where the locals where preparing dinner for us and we had a bonfire before going to bed. We also purchased the turbans at the Berber family's store which was great to have during our camel ride. I was able to sandboard and rent quads for my daughter and I . The bathrooms are clean. Don't forget to tip the locals :) . This was the best experience ever!!! Bring snacks, water and toilet paper for the road trip. There is also stores and cute cafes on the way, which is a perfect time to get out and stretch your legs. I didn't think i would be able to be out on such a long tour but, this company made EVERYTHING worth while.

Omg! I cannot express enough how amazing this trip was! Nizar, was a great driver! He even drove us to the airport the next day. And let us DJ in the car. He drove a sweet, and super comfortable, Mercedes! Nouaman, was an incredible tour guide in Chefchaouen! I highly recommend him! Funny, intelligent, patient, good photographer, and great recommendations! And a cat lover! It was even his birthday on our tour. You can’t go wrong! Chefchaouen is beautiful! And we purchased our best and favorite souvenirs there. We booked through Viator tours... but had we known, we would have just booked direct. This was a highlight on our trip to Morocco.

We were based in Casablanca and took day drips to Rabat and Marrakech. The tours were accommodating and helpful. Abdu and our drivers were consummate professionals. I can’t believe we got them for the price we paid. The car was a very nice new SUV. Trust me you don’t want to drive in Morocco. We found Rabat beautiful and less crowded, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V was the most spectacular part of the trip. Marrakech was hot and crowded. Shopping in the old market was a little overwhelming. No prices on anything so have to ask and haggle everything (not my jam), so Abdu took us to a giant 2 story store where we bought several rugs we found gorgeous. Wouldn’t have been able to do anything without Abdu to help. I think the nightlife may have been interesting in Casablanca but isn’t my thing. Made me say this was Aug 2020 was in Aug 2019, don’t know how it is during the pandemic. My wife and I were the only ones on the tour.

It turned out that we had the exclusive use of our driver, Hussain (or maybe Hassan? Sorry!) rather than being squeezed into the minibus - which was great! We could take as long as needed or just go when we wanted and he was, of course, very knowledgeable and keen to share his love of his country with us. Since it was early in the season the cascades were yet a little muted and so, rather than climb too high in some less than ideal footwear, we stopped at the second then returned for some lunch! We had visited a very good (and regulated) medicinal herb shop on our way and stopped at a typical Berber house on our return so, all in all, a very worthwhile trip!

Pickup from our hotel was seamless. The drive was scenic and comfortable in a spacious Mercedes van with wifi, A/C, water, sanitizer wipes, and tissues. The seats even reclined! Our driver Mourad was fantastic and played great music for us, offered to take breaks, and pointed out historic and interesting areas along the drive. Once in Marrakech, we met up with Abdel, our guide. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Marrakech and it’s history. We toured the stunning and historic Koutoubia mosque and its surrounding gardens. We then went to the museum Dar el Bacha, where we got to see what life was like for early 1900’s royalty - we learned so much about the gorgeous and detailed art and architecture here as well. We took a nice lunch break at a restaurant in the old Jewish quarter on a beautiful rooftop terrace. The tour company communicated our vegan dietary restrictions to the restaurant, and the chef made us a delicious traditional Moroccan meal. After that, we strolled through the Medina and Jamaa el Fna, where we got to witness the hustle and bustle of life in Marrakech. Abdel took us to a nice herbalist, who taught us how to make Argan oil and let us sample tons of products and teas made from his herbs. We then walked through the marketplace, to see all of the different textiles offered. Abdel was very helpful in telling us who made the highest quality products, and who to avoid. We felt very comfortable and safe in the crowded city with Abdel as our guide. He also helped us negotiate the best deals with shop owners. We finished our tour with a Moroccan rug show, where we ended up buying two rugs because they were so incredible. On top of the rug shop, there was another rooftop terrace, where we got to look out over the city to see all of the amazing places we had toured all day. Then, Mourad drove us safely home, just in time for dinner! Mourad and Abdel helped make this trip so memorable for us.
