Do you like lakes and unspoiled nature? If your answer is yes, then this is certainly a trip for you!  In a day trip you will explore the magical Alpine lakes of Bled and Bohinj and feel the mountainous charms of Slovenia’s Alpine region. A walk around Lake Bled and a ride with traditional “pletna” boat to little Bled Island is the perfect combination to see the beautiful nature and the city. You can admire and explore Bled Castle perched on a cliff above the lake and once on top enjoy a cup of coffee with the most famous dessert in Slovenia “Kremsnita” (vanilla cream cake) or try scrumptious "potica" nut cake. Be amazed by the beauty of Vintgar Gorge where a wooden path will take you along the picturesque gorge with the rushing river Radovna and vertical rocks. In Bohinj you will be surrounded by the high mountains reflecting in Bohinj lake and you will have the chance to explore and feel the relaxed life of small alpine villages such as Ribicev Laz and Ukanc.  This day trip takes you to Lake Bled, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Slovenia. Enjoy the marvellous views of the lake from Bled castle, one of Slovenia’s oldest castles, and from the traditional ‘pletna’ boat, which brings you to the picturesque island on Lake Bled. Not far from Bled is the Pokljuka plateau, covered in amazing forests that are a part of Triglav National Park which stretches all the way to Bohinj Lake, an absolute gem nested in the heart of the Julian Alps. Pokljuka is also famous for its Biathlon Centre, where some of our best athletes train in the winter time. Exploring Bohinj lake you will quickly see why the Slovenians call it the gem of the Julian Alps. The glacial lake Bohinj is considered the most beautiful place in Slovenia. It is the country’s center of eco- tourism and outdoor adventures. It is the largest and most beautiful Alpine lake in Slovenia. Being part of the Triglav national park, Bohinj will impress you with its natural beauty and its serene peacefulness and you will surely vow to return.   You will also visit Bled Vintgar Gorge, deeply carved into the limestone by the Radovna river, which you can follow on a 1.6 km path full of bridges and galleries that show you the truly remarkable landscape of the gorge.

First of all, a great personality of the tour guide makes it all so much nicer and easier! We’ve rented some e-mountain bikes and one really good full suspension bike. The destination was Planina Šija and the cottage up there, where you can get stunning views and good home made food. Nothing beats the mountains with friends.

For me and my boyfriend it was the first time we try any kind of canyoning and, my god, let me tell you what a great, adrenaline full experience it is. At the beginning we were quite afraid of what it will happen (because we are both a bit of a "pussies" when it come to height), but our guide Jani made us feel very save and on top of that he was super funny. We laugh all the way trough. Jani guided us to some big jumps and some fun, fun, fun slides. Even though, we went canyoning at the end of September, when it"s already a bit cooler, and river has 8 degrees, we got some quality wet- suits so u really can not get cold (beside being really heated up by the adrenaline). I would highly recommend this to everyone who wants to have fun on a bit different way.I can guarantee you will have the best, craziest day you will remember for a very long time. P.S. Book a tour with taken photos and videos so.. you know, you can"t use your mobile there for photos, and for sure this experience deserve to be photographed!

I contacted Katja after seeing her trips and asked if there was a full day trip that we could do together that took me to all of the sights I wanted to see. Katja arranged an itinerary that took me everywhere I wanted to photograph and took the hassle out of navigating the roads and national parks. The weather wasn’t the greatest, in fact it had rained every day for a month when I had arrived. But Katja and her lovely Australian Shepherd whose name I can pronounce but absolutely cannot spell picked me up early in the morning and off we went. It was in fact raining but Katja amended the itinerary to get the best out of the weather that we had and we managed to get the most out of the day. She took me through some wonderful waterfalls, soca river, national parks etc etc. she was very accommodating and took more time if I needed it but essentially let me set the pace. For me it was one of the best things I did in the month I spent in the Balkans and I really enjoyed my time with Katja because she was so friendly and had many wonderful stories. She had a broad knowledge base for photography and for those who might just want a day trip of the area to see a lot of the sights she is a wonderful person to show you around. I also would like to mention that with the weather being so bad I wanted to see Vintar Gorge and I couldn’t get there after it rained. Katja the next day actually picked me up and dropped me off in both directions just to help me out - that’s how wonderfully kind she is. I am so thankful for such a great day in wonderful company soaking up excellent vie ws

I went with friends on an e-bike tour with wine tasting. It was during the local 'Martinje' wine christening festival. The weather was not that great but the experience was really great because we had e-bikes so the tour was really easy. The food was great and there were wine testing stops along the way. Definitely would recommend!
