I can recommend a bike ride from the village to the dam is a fair ride up and a quick fun journey back. It's especially nice at sunset, the mountains definitely make for a good photo opportunity. If you can find a way down to the waters edge you can appreciate the scale of the construction, there is an amazing feeling of solitude, calming and the silence is definitely noticeable.
