Friendly staff, a nice varied menu and surprisingly they did have an English copy which made it much easier to choose what to order! We had a chicken schnitzel and a pork in red wine sauce, which both had nice salads and chips/pasta with them. Really quick service, and a fun place with some quirky decoration and a mix of rock/country soundtrack. Look out for a large, smirking wooden jester in the garden!

This pub is serving all people coming to see this baroque marvel at remote destination of Kuks, therefore expect classical pub meals (at my visit they have run out of salads, so only heavy options ruled). The have good source of local icecream and vere also promoting new Vinea frizzante - pleasant summer non alcoholic drinks.Parking is great plus - just next to the "Hospital", much better than the official one, which is far away

Fakt spatne. Obedove menu nam nechutnalo. Vyber byl slaby. Obsluha v duchu spici princezny. Proste misto, ktere vas okouzli pouze tim, ze je na namesti.

We were hungry after visiting that beautiful place - Hospital Kuks, and wanted to find some nice restaurant for lunch. There is the restaurant just next to Hospital, but one offers nothing special. Then we walked down to Kuks where you can find Baroque just behind the bridge over river Labe. It is a standard place, no luxury, ordinary tables, one could say nothing special. But after looking at menu one can find it is special. There are many standard Czech meals, but we had the Onion soup with Lucina cheese. Good choice. As it was the Good Friday before Easter holidays we wanted some no meat meal as the main course. And the restaurant offers really good pieces without meat. We had the Baked Potato with mushrooms and rozhuda cheese with fennel and pear salad. This is incredible mix of tastes. Excellent chef, I guess. We also had the Zucchini cakes with gorgonzola cheese and salad. Also delicious. We could not miss some desert. Everything was good. Prices are a bit higher, but still I felt like I got a good value for money. Staff is not good, rather for a pub than a restaurant serving that nice meals. Conclusion.... order special meals rather than pieces known by everybody. Chef is able to prepare good plates. Thank you for the beautiful review. Especially for the passage of the menu. This is exactly what we want to do and what we enjoy!

Po výletoch po okolà sme boli fakt hladnÃ. Dali sme si pizzu, myslÃm nejakú diabolskú, a kofolu. Pizza nebola zlá, ale niÄ iné a už vôbec nie drahÅ¡ie by som si tam nedala. Vonku to bolo pekné posedie, vnútri Å¡ero a smutne. Záchody veľká katastrofa. Taký Å¡enkový Å¡tandard. Ale obsluha bola velmi milá a doniesli aj misku na vodu pre psa bez vyzvania.

This very nice restaurant in the city of Dvur Kralove n.L. has got a new owner and a new name: La Rochelle. So you canât find it with new name up to now.The service was great, the food delecious and the beer cold and tasty. Jsou restaurace, které vÅ¡ak působà jako hospody. A, pÅÃjemnÄjÅ¡Ã varianta, jsou hospody, kde se cÃtÃte jako v restauraci. To jsme si potvrdili v sobotu odpoledne, po celodennà dÅinÄ na zahradÄ u naÅ¡Ã chalupy, když jsme se rozhodli odmÄnit se návÅ¡tÄvou Na KopeÄku. Vstup nahÅátý ohnÄm v krbovkách hned proti dveÅÃm. Obsazené dva Äi tÅi stoly - to se spravilo, dorazilo dalÅ¡Ãch pár skupin, takže kolem 16 hod. byla kapacita zaplnÄna cca z poloviny. Obsluha hbitá, mile familiárnà (jak se pÅece na hospodu sluÅ¡Ã). JÃdlo opÄt nezklamalo - na menu bylo kyselo (nemÄl jsem ho roky, toto se fakt povedlo, krémové, pÅÃjemnÄ nakyslé, zahuÅ¡tÄné mÃchanými vajÃÄky). Máti si dala kuÅecà ÅÃzek pÅes půl talÃÅe a bramborami, my volili ÄerstvÄ upeÄená žebÃrka - krásnÄ Å¡Å¥avnatá, mÄkká, z kostà maso jen odpadalo. Dva dipy - jogurtový troÅ¡ku mdlý, druhý pikantnÃ, velmi dobrý. K dokonalosti chybÄl jen kousek syrové zeleniny na dekoraci. K pità jsme dali mÃstnà Jungberg (zásadnÄ podporujà lokálnà producenty, pivo je navrch dobré) a džbánek citronády pro ÅidiÄe. No a zakonÄenà obstaraly Å¡vestky marinované v karamelu s karamelovou zmrzlinou, skvÄlé, a vÃdeÅská káva - rovnÄž bez chyby. Äili hodnocenà opÄt za jedna a hvÄzdiÄku dodávám, neb milý pan ÄÃÅ¡nÃk mi obstaral i nabÃjeÄku na telefon.

We visited Kuks (ancient Baroque hospital). There were several restaurants in Kuks, but they all looked like tourists traps (i.e. expensive, so-so meal and service).15min drive from Kuks is this restaurant Ve Dvore in Dvur Kralove nad Labem located. The restaurant is just around the city center. It was a local tip and we were so happy we took this choice! The place is new and with a style. We immediately felt that this is a restaurant with a concept. The food is good, it is prepared fresh and decorated with a thought. The beer is good, it offers both Bernard and local ale-amber type beer. They offered French menu when we were there, and the menu also includes typical Czech dishes that goes very well with beer. Service is good, friendly and communicative. There is a space outdoor for kids to play and do wall climbing. For two adults and a kid, we paid around 650 KC. We highly recommend this place for those who are tired of typical Czech restaurants with frozen, fried food.Thank you for your great review! We are very happy.

Normally I prefer not to eat in hotels as food is average and prices high. This place makes me change an opinion. Nice food, reasonable prices, quite quick. Recommend it!
