My daughter-in-law and I attended a Japanese tea ceremony followed by a visit to a tea house and a sweets shop. The normal tea house they use was filled so our experience took place at a personal home with two rooms set aside for the tea ceremony. Our guide met us at the train station in kimono and we walked to the home where another woman had everything prepared. We loved watching and learning. The ceremony was like a dance or like watching someone perform yoga. We both had an opportunity to whisk the matcha and Morgan went through the entire procedure. The guides were wonderful and gave great information as well as answering all our questions. A very enjoyable 2 hours and highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo.

Without Kaori's guidance I would not have known where to go, since many places are closed during the new years in Japan. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try many different cuisines in one day. After the tour I was completely stuffed from trying so many different foods, but it was totally worth it!

Since she is a professional photographer, she knew what to view and where to best view it. She was so pleasant and found us the most amazing shop in which to buy kimonos and hapi coats. Her photography was amazing. She also does a Toyko Photo Tour that gives you professional photos. Thanks Izumi!!!
