Classic whitewashed buildings line the labyrinthine streets of Mykonos, the largest town on the Greek island of the same name. Matoyianni Street is particularly charming. Iconic 16th-century windmills keep watch over the village from the hills above, and the fully functional Boni Mill is part of the Mykonos Agricultural Museum. The Aegean Maritime Museum and the Folklore Museum will give you a proper introduction to the area’s rich cultural and economic history.

Had a 90 walk around and run down of the best bars, popped into a church, learnt a bit about a statue and a few other things. Lacking dates historical detail, this was a walking tour for people that maybe don’t want to much info, in retrospect it was a waste of money. And having done a walking tour in most places around the world I’ve visited it’s just not a great standard. The people were very lovely but that’s about the best I can say. The guide smelt bad and we got comments by passes by which was actually embarrassing.

This tour was without question the best tour I have ever experienced and was a major highlight of my first trip to Greece and Mykonos. Andrea led the tour across places in the Island that I never would have thought to go on my own, like a beautiful monastery at Ano Mera, a tiny chapel with a working bell, and a hidden, 500-year old bakery in the middle of Chora. Chloe at the Bakery was a delightful host for pastries and I was so happy to help her interpret an email from an Australian journalist about the cafe. I was a willing 'sponge' to all the information Andrea had to share. Who knew the tiny streets in Mykonos were a protection against pirates?! I loved learning about the history of how Mykonos came to be the tolerant and welcoming place that it is, and where it all might be headed next. I later followed up the tour with a dinner at Andrea's restaurant Funky Kitchen for a spontaneous birthday dinner with a new friend; it was chic and a pleasant surprise. Honestly I thought this was my 'Goodbye to Europe' trip but after this, I want somehow to explore all 5,000 Islands! I've started studying Greek!!

What a fantastic tour! I loved every single moment! Claudio was a fantastic tour guide with so much knowledge and it was very interesting hearing about the lesser explored Mykonos. I saw the light house, went to a beautiful bay in Panormos, traditional Ano Mera village where we had excellent food at The Fisherman. I saw a disused mine on a gorgeous beach and stunning churches and beautiful caves and also a few beaches I wanted to get to which I’d not been able to get to before. It was a perfect day and Claudio is a credit to Kyklomar. I have used this company twice now. Once visiting Tinos Island with Valentina which was AMAZING and then this jeep safari. If you are thinking of using them, please do, they genuinely care for their customers and they are flexible and amenable to make your trip perfect! Thank you to George for the courteous service when I visited your offices and via email and another big shout out to Claudio, who felt like a good friend by the end of the trip. Bravo sas!

The tour was really good and it was my sister and I only for the evening tour (turning into a private tour...win). Got to see the top places in the town and little Venice. Then we drove around the island. We also stopped at one of the beaches for a drink (they changed the location to suit what we would like) and later stopped at one of the restaurants for some apperitifs. This restaurant had the best tzatziki and politiki I have ever tasted. Lastly they took us to the top of the hill in the evening for a night photo of Mykonos with the lights lit up. The tour should have ended a little earlier but the last stop was a nice little bonus to round up the tour. I truly recommend!

We really enjoyed our half day tour of Mykonos and it was good to explore and see different parts of the island - including Mykonos town, Ano Mera and the beaches of Kalo Livadi and Agrari. Our tour was in the morning from 10am to 2pm. Our guide Takis was really friendly and great to chat to, and he was also knowledgable about the island - we felt like we learned a lot from our tour as well as having lots of great photo opportunities. Great morning out!

This experience was the highlight of our time in Mykonos. The food was amazing - home grown or made on Matt, our host’s, granddad’s farm. We also loved that we were getting off the beaten track and discovering the chapel and sights up in the mountains. Matt was accommodating, knowledgeable and made sure we all had a great time. We actually went in July 2019 but I took too long in making the review so couldn’t select that date. But it was too good not to share!

This tour with Matthaios is exceptional and deserves with out a doubt actually more than 5 Stars. It is a must for everyone that wants to get a great overview of Mykonos town and the island itself. He gave a great overview of Mykonos including also stories of the history and the culture. At the beach we enjoyed a great variety of homemade greek specialities. Unfortunately we have eaten breakfast before so we couldn’t eat as much as we’d liked to. So don’t make the same mistake as we did and leave some room in your stomach to enjoy those treats. Thank you Matthiaos for this wonderful tour showing us Mykonos and making us this delicious foods, as well thanks so much for the little gift that we now can enjoy at home with our families.

We enjoyed our tour and vegetarian breakfast. We managed to see a decent amount of Mykonos Town before meeting our guides which I guess can't be helped (unless the start of the tour is rearranged to be at the bus station, but then again it depends which way the tour group will be coming from!). So that was my only critique. Everything else was great, the information shared, the recommendations for local vendors and the enthusiasm for Mykonos.
