Liverpool's fortunes have historically been tied to shipping. But imports and exports like sugar, spice and tobacco pale in comparison with Liverpool's most famous export of all—the Beatles. Relive the hysteria at the Beatles Story Experience, and check out Paul's childhood home, but also leave time for exploring Liverpool Cathedral and the Walker Art Gallery.

Why take a shared Beatles or LIverpool tour in a coach when you can travel safely with your own qualified Blue Badge Tour Guide who is great fun and who is also a Beatles expert. See Penny Lane, Strawberry Field & much more. Our luxury V-class Mercedes is sanitised between tours and there is Hand Gel, masks and WIFi on board. I will explain how and why the city has changed in a lighthearted informative way and help you plan the rest of your day. There are very few licensed driver guides in Liverpool and no other Liverpool Qualified Guide has a V-class Mercedes. I am a Beatles expert & I like to mix up the legacy left by the fab4 with the maritime history and the impact of the new waterfront buildings on the World Heritage Site. I will talk about the Georgian Quarter and the slave trade and you will visit the Victorian Round Reading Room and be driven through the world heritage site. My tours are family friendly and I will help you plan the rest of your visit.

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. With a line-up comprising of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they are considered the most influential band of all time. The simple guys from the industrial town were able to not only create extraordinary, original music, but also conquer the world. The road to fame for this legendary music band was difficult but very exciting. Did you know that during the band's first concert, people threw coins, whistled, and threw bitter replies at them? Beatles raised more money from the ground than they did for the show. The Beatles were constantly accompanied by scandals. This music group set the fashion of the time with their clothes and style. Millions of people around the world were crazy about them. Did you know that The Beatles have sold over a billion records worldwide? Hear the story of The Beatles and many interesting facts about its members from your local charismatic guide.

I had a fantastic tour of the city in early September with a Blue Badge guide called Andrew. He had a wonderful depth of knowledge and a delightful sense of humour. What lovely way to see this city which I have visited quite a few times but always on my own. Thank you Andrew for a really interesting morning!

This luxury tour is brilliant for a group of friends, a corporate group or as a shore excursion for anyone who loves The Beatles and was inspired by the Carpool karaoke programme in 2018 shown on the James Corden programme the Late Show. Sing along as you are guided in luxury transport for up to 6 guests with hand held microphones as you sing along Karaoke style with your guide. Enjoy strawberrys at Strawberry Fields, see Paul's former schools, outside his childhood home and you'll receive a souvenir key ring along Penny Lane where he signed the famous road sign. This is a top end luxury product, in a fully licensed vehicle with a qualified fun tour guide and Beatles expert. There are other Beatles tours but there's no other Carpool Karaoke tour and this is easily the most fun and your guide will suggest lots of other Beatles themed things you can do during your visit to Liverpool.
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Live Guide who will sing along - Carpool Karaoke Style
Exclusions: Gratuities, Food, drinks or refreshments , We do not always visit inside the Cavern Club as there is an entrance charge after 12:00

This Beatles Tour will take you on a day you'll never forget! If you visit Liverpool and you love the Beatles, this is a must for you. We will walk through all the memorable places with informative commentary. We will start at the Philamonic Dining Rooms made famous by Paul McCartney's appearance there for James Corden's carpool karaoke and was a regular haunt of the Fab Four. The story will continue along Hope Street at the art school where John went next to the Liverpool institute Paul and George attended. We will wend our way into the city centre using the route they used passing the locations that played a part in their meteoric rise to fame, Le Ye Cracke, The Blue Angle, The Jacaranda and others until we reach Mathew Street and the world famous Cavern Club. All told with an indepth continuity and wit. The Liverpool Pillharmonic in Hope Street is our meeting point. Don't miss this opportunity to visit the most emblematic attractions of the city.

This tour was fantastic from the second we’d booked it!! The communication from Ian was quick and efficient, much helped by the fact that he does all the organising/booking/tours himself so he knows exactly what he’s doing. The tour itself was just so informative, I cannot believe that one person can remember that many facts and dates, Ians knowledge verges on encyclopaedic! I won’t say too much about the places that you visit as you need to book and see for yourselves. What I will say though is that is was fun, informative, good value for money, breathtaking and that chances are we will return to Liverpool with family next year and do this tour again, hopefully the weather will be better next time, but even that wasn’t enough to dampen our spirits. Thank you Ian, it was a real pleasure to meet you!
