Went to the fairy pools without a guide and it was stunning. Weather wasn’t great but water was so clear and beautiful. Would have been a better experience on a warm day. Wear decent footwear as when raining it gets slippy

She expressed her disappointment about not being able to take us on the tour. This is definitely a company that cares about its customers and we will be booking with them when we travel again

A beautiful distillery in a park-like setting on the water. The tour guide was friendly and well-informed...took us through the distillery and cask storage facilities explaining the entire process. Tasting on one scotch included in the “Original” tour. Which was fine with us...a couple other options available

We went to Scotland last month during the first week of September 2020 and we are still talking about this amazing trip we did with our guide George. The Highlands were even more beautiful thanks to him...we had the chance to view all the best spots, secluded and historical sites, astonishing views all in one day! We would highly recommend this tour, we will definitely go back to Scotland and book another trip with George; who is very knowledgeable about Scotland’s history and the territory itself, you feel like you are taking part in a great documentary customized for you :) Thanks again for the best tour George! -Your small family from Turkey-

We were so lucky - we had George to ourselves! As he said himself prior to picking us up from our hotel he was easily recognisable, resplendent in his kilt. First stop was Clava Cairns, an almost mystical prehistoric burial site in a beautiful setting. Then on to Culloden where we spent time wandering the battlefield, made more emotive by seeing where various Chieftans had fallen. Then on to something completely different - the Caledonian Canal at Dochgarroch Lock before heading to the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre (and yes, we did see Nessie!) Our final stop was at the ruins of Beauly Priory. As promised it was fun and full of interesting stories. Many thanks again George!

Free time to enjoy lunch in one of the charming local cafés in beautiful Beauly and walk it off exploring Beauly Priory; used in the filming of Outlander. Take a walk with Cath, a local to the area, and an experienced Scottish Tourist Guide Association Green Badge Guide around her beautiful City of Inverness. Each tour is bespoke and planned around the opening times of various venues of historical interest and importance. A Walk Inverness tour contains lots of local history, beautiful scenery, architecture, and romantic (yet sometimes bloody) tales which have over time, shaped Inverness into the thriving city that stands today. In the true spirit of Outlander, find out more about the short but final confrontation of the Jacobite Rising, The Battle of Culloden in 1746, in which the fate of between 1500 Jacobites was sealed by a poor decision and a hostile terrain. Cath will fascinate you with references to Outlander along with life in 18th century Inverness right up to the present day. Sharing stories of clan history, folklore and legends.
