No words necessary for this one... I was for so long trying to visit this Castle and this citythat when I finally got there, I think I even cried ... it was super emotional for me, the only experience in the beautiful town. there is much to do there, apart from the obvious visit to the splendid castle of Neuschwanstein there is also another castle in front the Hohenschwangau Castle, a lake( Alpsee) where you can go cayaking, walk through the splendid forest, many restaurants, museum (Museum der bayerischen Konige), in short there are many things to entertain all the family. I know that I will repeat this adventure again I only stayed one day because I went by bus from Munich and had to return at the end of the afternoon

We loved this food tour, it was one of our favorite activities in Berlin! Since it was just our group Liz was able to customize it to our liking. She took us to some of her favorite spots, places we never would have found on our own. We felt like locals and oh man was the food delicious! Liz was very entertaining and charming and even helped us navigate our way to our next activity. We loved every minute of the food tour and highly recommend Liz!

Our virtual tour was spectacular. This was easy to book. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, well organized and took the time to answer all our questions. She allowed us to take the time to observe the memorials and process it. There is nothing like experiencing a tour in person; however, our guide made the experience feel as though we were there. I highly recommend this alternative way of touring during these limited travel times.

First of all, a bit about our guide, Paul. He was incredible. Full of information, including history leading up to the war, and spent time on the journey telling us the background and showing things of interest. He could answer every question, and was obviously passionate about history and the area. He actually made our visit, and for that we cannot thank him enough. From purchasing the tickets to meeting our guide to getting back to our hotel, the process was easy. The journey is long on the train, followed by a 15 minute walk to Sachsenhausen, so be aware of that. The actual place - I don’t think I can put into words what it was like. The thought of being there, and hearing and imagining what the prisoners went through, was humbling, and made us reflect on how lucky we are. We didn’t take photos, as did not feel it was right to do so (our personal view), and we were also so busy listening to Paul we didn’t really think about taking any. There is a café- we thought there wasn’t so took some lunch with us, but would eat at the café if we returned as it looked nice food (soup/sandwiches/cake) and was reasonably priced. The biggest advice we would give is take a coat, even if it is not particularly cold. The wind across the open space was biting at times. We would say this is an unmissable trip, and be prepared to be moved. And ask for Paul - you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful tour by a knowledgeable guide before the castle tour! He had obviously done his research and was able to add more, and more historically accurate, details. Lots of "fun" facts, too (I had no idea what BMW stood for or why the logo looks looks like it does. I do now!). He knows all the best spots for pictures and the best times to get them in before the next tour groups arrive. Skipping the line for the castle tour tickets was a real plus. Highly recommend!

Dachau is one of the most well preserved camps in all of Europe and a visit to a camp should be on every travelers itinerary. Dachau was the first camp set up in NAZI Germany, was the model for all other camps and was the only camp running for the entire 12 years of the Third Reich. This authorized full tour of the Dachau Memorial is a half day tour traveling via train from Munich at 9:30 and arriving back approximately 14:30. Your guide will not only explain in detail the horrors of the camp system but the plight of the various victims that suffered under this brutal system of murder and oppression, the rise of the NAZI party and many other events that took place throughout the 3rd Reich and World War 2. As we are a small independent company we go above and beyond to give our guests a memorable experience. Due to Covid-19 I have limited the group size to 6 guests as this is the maximum I'm aloud to guide through the museum.

Inclusions: Fully licensed professional guide, Public transport costs to and from the memorial site

Exclusions: Food and drinks, Gratuities

Our guide for the visit was Wouter and he is a fantastic person to be leading the tour. Both knowledgeable and articulate, Wouter was interesting to listen to from the time we met him in the city centre to the time of dispersing at the end. We thoroughly recommend the tour itself. It is harrowing and a reminder of the horrors that occurred there, but also stands as a living representation of something that should never be repeated. Any short visit to Berlin should include this tour. We were in Berlin before the Covid issues started, so have no comment regarding the adherence to guidelines associated with it.

The drive was super smooth and the whole tour of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof was amazing and so beautiful. Despite how freezing cold it was, it was def worth freezing my fingers and toes lol. When we went, there was snow and it really felt like you stepped into the world of Narnia and felt like we were in a complete different realm. Our tour guide was super fun and experienced and her knowledge behind the history of the castles and Bavaria was super intersting and you just want to listen to everything she says. Loved it til the very end.
