Golden palaces, floating markets, majestic porcelain-laid spires…you've never seen a capital city quite like Bangkok. Visit Pratunam or Siam Square for premium shopping, then unwind in the European-style gardens of Dusit. Thon Buri is home to the awesome Wat Arun temple, and over in Phra Nakhon, you’ll find the Wat Pho temple of the Reclining Buddha. Savor mango sticky rice at a food stall before taking in the gilded splendor of the Grand Palace.

Seeing everything by night - it was all so beautiful! On our first evening in Bangkok, we were greeted by our tour guide, Bas, who made us very welcome and showed us all the beautiful highlights of Bangkok by night. Bas was very knowledgeable of Thailand's history and culture. He took us to a restaurant where we had beautiful views over the river while eating delicious Thai food. We are so glad that we did this tour, and very happy with Bas who showed us around and took us to all the best places and advantage points to see the best of Bangkok by night. And it was so exhilerating to get around in a TukTuk all night! I would definitely recommend this tour - what a brilliant start to our Thailand adventure....

The Ayutthaya Experience takes you through the historical wonders of Thailand's ancient capital. Ayutthaya is dotted with ruins and grand temples, surrounded by the Chao Phraya, Pa Sak and Lop Buri Rivers. Explore Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand. See sights such as, Wat Mahathat to encounter the famous Buddha head covered in tree roots. Admire beautiful remnants of murals left behind on the temple ruins. Pay a visit to Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the holiest temple with the old Royal Palace. Witness the iconic three chedis or bell-shaped pagodas. Next see Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, with its towering stupa and golden statues. Encounter rows of seated Buddhas in bright, saffron robes. Venture to Wat Chaiwatthanaram, my favourite temple with its unique Cambodian-style architecture. Here you can put on a traditional Thai outfit for a unique photo opportunity.
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Entrance tickets to all temples described, English speaking Tour Guide
Exclusions: Elephant riding Optional extra program., Lunch
After spending 2 weeks in various regions of Thailand, we wrapped up our trip in Bangkok. We had one full day so wanted to see and learn as much as we could. We communicated with Nikki in advance of our trip and he was very friendly, responsive and helpful in recommending which of the many options were not to be missed. Nikki met us at our hotel and arranged tuk-tuks and taxis to get us to the various locations which was easy and fun. Our day was chock-full...we went to Pak Klong Talad flower market (beautiful!), the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha (awe-inspiring), Wat Arun, Reclining Buddha, a longboat ride along the Choaphaya River, and China Town. Nikki shared his knowledge of the area, the sites, the people, and the history. He is outgoing and enthusiastic and he took good care of us. We enjoyed the day immensely and would absolutely recommend a tour with Nikki!

May, our local guide is fantastic. She was very kind to pick us up at our hotel. We quickly hit it off and chatted about Bangkok during our tour. May took us to places that are off the beaten path to see the real Bangkok. We had a marvelous local Thai lunch by the river. May wanted to show us food that her grandma made for her. Totally authentic Thai food. Besides the Thai puppet show, she took us to see a 200 years old temple that is being restored. No tourists, just two of us. We felt very privileged to see her hometown. May took great care of us and even dropped us off at the next meeting point for our second tour. We appreciate her thoughtfulness and friendliness. Amazing recommended places from her. We felt her genuine friendship. Gave us a really warm feeling. Thanks so much, May. Sincerely appreciated.

We visited Bangkok in February and we booked an 8 hour private tour with Apple. Everything was very professional from booking the tour, correspondence with the office and execution of the tour. First, you have to except the philosophy of the company - you have to have your wish list prepared in advance. We started the day a little bit different like the others. Our 3 year old son got a mild allergy in the morning and we asked our guide Apple if we can visit the hospital first. She immediately organized everything. We went with Apple to private hospital which was, by the way, the best modern hospital which I ever saw. Luckily everything was ok with our son, so we continued with the tour. We visited Grand Palace which is really the best attraction in Bangkok. Apple guided us through the complex with interesting explanation for us. We went for lunch to nearby Navy club with good Thai dishes and affordable prices. We continued with traditional long tail boat ride. In the end Apple also answered all our questions about modern Thailand. Also the controversial ones. Me and my wife are working as tour guides in our country, so we can confirm excellent work of our guide Apple. Thank you Apple! You fulfilled our expectations.

I'm writing this a little late, but I was looking back at photos of my trip (actually in December 2018) and realized I had missed a review on this tour. This should tell you how good it was! This food tour was amazing! There was great explanation about the food preparation as well as the history of the city - and most importantly it was all delicious. Mod was a fantastic guide and I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a true local experience!

This night tour won the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Award and for good reason. Exploring at night and by the iconic tuk tuk is a great way to discover Bangkok and the local culture. Explore Bangkok by tuk tuk passing many of the iconic sites as you tour at night. This 4-hour tour loops along the Chao Phraya River, stopping at several temples and markets. See temples such as Wat Pho illuminated at night, enjoy dinner and a dessert at a mystery stop! This is considered a cultural tour with food, and it provides a great introduction to Bangkok and the local culture. However, it should not be considered an in-depth food tour. This tour is limited to 12 people, ensuring an informative experience with a small group. NOTE: There are changes to the tour post COVID. Currently, Wat Pho is closed at night so we visit Wat Arun. Restaurants may change. 2 people are needed to run the tour & due to limited bookings we aren't able to run for individuals. Contact us direct if questions.
Inclusions: Transportation by tuk-tuk, Professional English speaking guide, Snacks, dinner, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages, Drop-off at the end within a limited distance
Exclusions: Hotel pickup, Gratuities
I’ve lived in Bangkok for a year and a half now, and the Expique scooter tour was one of the best days I’ve had since living here! We booked as a surprise for a friend’s birthday at the end of January, and the company were particularly great in communicating with me during the run up. We weren’t sure whether it could go ahead due to Covid, so we weren’t asked for a deposit or to pay until the week of the trip. It was a private tour (just the 4 of us) and it was such a fun day! We had a brief lesson on how to use the scooters and then off we went! We took a boat across the river (scooters in tow!) and went to many different places that you just wouldn’t know or necessarily come across by yourself. Our guide, Yazz, was great at giving us detail about the places we stopped and tailored the day to what we wanted. We loved it so much that we’re definitely going to do another scooter tour with Expique. When Thailand finally reopens its borders, please use this company for a tour! I’ve done a few with them now and they’re absolutely great, but suffering (as many places are) due to the lack of tourists. Highly recommend!

The giant Buddha statue is a MUST to visit the in Phuket. But try to go in the early morning as the sun will rise facing the Big Buddha and you can get a nice picture of the Buddha with clear blue sky behind.

Train market was actually nothing special it definitely interesting and no need to skip if it is on your way but don't expect too much. Good thing is that you don't loose much time there. At Floating Market boat ride is interesting. You can get really good photos. Take cash and negotiate the price. There is a money exchange but you need a passport with you.
