Little mediteranian restaurant on Pelesac in Orebic where local wine and local organic food cooked with love and care meet nicely No credit cards accepted
Owners Darko and Annie are SEARCH & RESCUE experts and wonderful chefs. In this restaurant just below their home on the blue Dalmation shore, under ancient pine trees, they cook unique dishes on their wood fire grill. Among their specialties are mussel buzarra, broadet - specially prepared fish and seafood in tomato sauce -, gregada - fish in a garlic, parsley and olive oil sauce with potatoes -, boyabish another speciality. The restaurant serves a good variety of vegan food as well, Annie is vegan herself :) They are always ready to help you with your questions about your trip and they take pride in what they do.

Family farm AntunoviÄ is situated on the beautiful Croatian peninsula of PeljeÅ¡ac which is located on the southern Croatian, Dubrovnik - Neretva County. Our farm is located right in the heart of peninsula, in Kuna. This city rose among vineyards and olive
It was a very nice day in September 2017 when we came to konoba AntunoviÄ in Kuna PeljeÅ¡ka but we couldn't enjoy our meal outside, as we were accommodated inside, in an unpleasant room without windows. They don't have a garden nor tarrace to eat on open in spite of the fact that the place is situated in countryside.Smoked ham they served us was very good. But baked meat was not well prepared and and the same problem was with potatoes. We asked for desert, but they didn't have any, and they unbelievebly refused to serve us coffee. The toilet was a real disaster, and it was unpossible to use it because of dirt and terrible smell. we wouldn't recommend anybody to visit that place with intention to eatDear Stanislava, thank you for your review, we are happy to hear any feedback from our guests. But, we would like to inform you (as you probably did not understand) that we are not a 5 stars restaurant - we are traditional, authentic and really old tavern. We made our konoba inside our family house which is more than 300 hundred years old. Despite our willing to tear down all houses around our object so you can enjoy fresh garden air - we could not do it. The reason is really simple - our neighbors would be really angry. We do not serve the dessert - that's true. We don't have time to do it. Our family have 5 people and 350 sheeps, 100 goats, 70 donkeys, chickens, cows, pigs, fruit, salad, vegetable, grapes, wine, cheese, milk, ham, meat - and guess what? We are producing all of that by our self. And guess what we are not producing in Kuna PeljeÅ¡ka? Coffee, yes. As we refuse to serve anything what is not produced by our hands, unfortunately you can not drink coffee at our place. But, lucky for you, there are so many place where you can go and be really satisfied. Wish you all the best, Konoba AntunoviÄ

Mimbelli Restaurant, established in 2013., is located in the center of Orebic. Our top chef adds a touch of contemporary culinary trends to traditional recipes. Our friendly staff is always willing to explain every detail on the menu, filet the fish for g
We went here based on all good reviews on TA and expected a nice dinner instead we got insulted and verbally attacked by the owner once we told that we were not satisfied with our food. Looking at the menu we had couple of questions for the waitress and for each question she ran back to the kitchen to ask. Questions were what is the daily soup, what side dishes do you get with the meat... Completely basic questions that each waiter should be able to answer straight away. The tomato soup was out of a tetrapack and tuned with some spices and sour cream and presented to look nice but the taste was completely plain. For main course we had meat plate and croatian special pasta with truffles. Meat was grilled but completely tasteless and dry. Pasta was also plain and there was no sign of real truffles, only tartuffata. I stopped eating the meat and after founding out it's tasteless the waitress went back to the kitchen to return the plate but no success. Once we got the bill we asked to talk to the owner and told him that we do not agree with the full price that they charged us. The owner felt personally attacked just because we complained about the food and started to verbally attack and insult us. I'm not even sure he understood what I was trying to complain about. This is not acceptable by a such highly reviewed restaurant. It's a shame that such a well rated restaurant is run by someone so primitive. Since when are you as a customer not allowed to express your own opinion and disagreement? At the end he even called out the chef with whom we clarified the issue and she managed to have a normal conversation and some sense of reason. I highly advise you not to go there. There are better restaurants nearby. Dear Pia,thank you for your review. We are sorry that you haven't felt welcome in our restaurant and that you had experience as you described above. We honestly hope that your holidays went well in OrebiÄ and surroundings.Best regards,Mimbelli Restaurant team

One more restaurant I always come back to, they offer great food and great variety of wine. Staff is always friendly and polite, however it can be difficult to get a table so I suggest making a reservation. Here you cannot go wrong with seafood especially mussels and shrimps
This is a small restaurant situated in authentic backyard of a 400 years old family house. With only 3 tables, here you will find peace and quiet, away from tourist traffic. We serve homemade products (dry meat, cheese, pasta, gnocchi, bread, juice...) an
This was our first visit to this little restaurant. I found it on TripAdvisor! The whole evening was a very successful and cozy experience, both in terms of the tasty food and the great service.Silvia, who served us, was such a nice and humble woman, and her skilled husband stood for all cooking.Everything is homemade, all vegetables grow nearby, all the wines and different kinds of snaps have the man in the house done, all dishes are very tasty and well cooked. The interior is genuine in old style, so cozy!We were thrilled and will visit these nice people several times in the future on our holiday weeks!Dear Paula, thank you very much for your kind words, especially after the mistake I made. You are far better guests than I am host. Have a pleasant trip home and I'm looking forward to see you next year. All the best to you and your kind husband with a very Swedish name I forgot (Reidar, is it? ;)) Hugs and kisses to both of you!

Closed until the Spring 2020. Thank you all for your patronage in 2019. and previous years. All the best Goran Jovic :)
Konoba is word that describes a traditional restaurant usually attached to Dalmatian culinary culture. We went here as a family and hade grilled shrimps, fried calamari and civiche. The seafood was great directly from the grill in the backyard and the service very friendly. We waited for the food roughly 20 min but it was worth it. The shrimp where perfectly grilled served with zucchini and eggplant and the civiche was juicy and crisp. Simple cuisine and interior with an outdoor dining area hidden away under the shadow that made a great and relaxing hideout from the gassing sun. Dear mikaelp944,thank you very much for the top rating and extended preview of our food and services. It is always our pleasure to have parties like your. Enjoy your stay in Trpanj and please come again. All the best :)
