Great location and atmosphere- great service - very busy but well managed. Food was perfect. Lovely scallops for starter, some Adriatic squid for the main with boiled potatoes, combination of grilled and fried plus a lovely bottle of Prosecco. Highly recommended:) thanks

Our restaurant Dida which is located in Crikvenica offers a mediterranean gourmet experience in a beautiful dreamy garden which is right next to the sea. We serve traditional and fresh food which is prepared in a modern way. We definitely recommend and ki
Amazing location, beautiful food, great service but lacking in some areas, very impressive selection of olive oils. Only downside was very poor drink selection, no cocktails and no kids menu. Thanks for your positive review and thanks for your suggestions! We will definitely take the arguments into consideration and try to improve! Kindest regards.

Family tradition since 1972. Step into a world of local fishermen in Crikvenica and mediterranean cusine!
A truly delightful meal in a beautiful garden setting, made even more enjoyable by the attention of our host Daniel. Local cuisine beautifully prepared and presented and very reasonably priced. The mixed seafood entrees of sardines three way and seared tuna were delicious, as were the main courses of truffle risotto and aged steak with amazing plum and marmalade chutneys. Daniel's local wine recommendations were a great accompaniment to the superb food. Try the floating islands dessert - amazing!! Would we return? - in a heart beat !!

Near the state road Rijeka - Split one can find restaurant Frankopan overlooking the entrance of small seaside town Kraljevica and the coasts of Kvarner bay . The owner and manager of the restaurant Branimir Slivka with wife Jasmina has been following the
Food was excellent and we came primarily for the food, so very happy. It's just the place looks a bit dated (but the picture of Tito was removed), even the approach of the owner was as I remember it from the Yugoslavian times. But, want to say again, food was excellent, can't remember ever having such a tasty scampi!

At the way home from seaside we decided to stop somewhere in Gorski kotar looking for some lower temperature. All the way it was 32 C degrees. At restaurant Eva a summer breeze was a real refreshment though temp was still around 28 C. You can seat in a shade with view to Lokve lake. I can only confirm food excellence from other reviews and value for money. After some liqueurs we chose Eva goulash (venison, wild berries and mushrooms) and veal. Desserts were great - strudel with blueberries and other with wild berries. Waitress was very kind. The total price for two was 289 HRK / 40 EUR. Definitely we'll come back.

Visited place for the first time, and served like we are regular costumers. Staff is great, fast and polite. The food is excellent. We took a pizza and a "marenda" menu which for that day was meal with sour cabbage, beans and sausage and it was great. For dessert we took apple strudel, home made and delicious!!!! Next tim we come Vrata we know our dinner destination!
The unassuming Pizzeria Landravec serves pizzas with a local flavour. We had the pizza landravec and the goranska pizza and both were excellent - hot and flavourful. Also, very good value, compared to the other options in town. The owner Marija is warm, friendly and hospitable. Must try when in Fuzine.

Like all the places around, Volta's mainly offering venison / typical local food - deer (and sometimes bear) goulash or cuts in sauce, frog legs, etc. even "crossover" stuff such as Äevapi or filled pljeskavica from horse meat, along with strudels from various OPGs from nearby LiÄ (which are duly stated). Fairly popular, nicely decorated, if a bit too warm inside, slightly dimly lit. Professional service, friendly... All in all, huge potential to deliver a memorable experience of the positive kind. However, it didn't.While it wasn't packed, there were still a lot of people and we weren't prepared for almost an hour of waiting for our food, while others got theirs before. Unsure which dish would cause the delay among those ordered since other tables who came later got their meals before us, but it must have been something. After a long, long wait, we received the dishes... The portions are medium really, not big. Having been the only one to order deer goulash with a side-dish (pretty good "local-style" fried diced potatoes), the portion seemed smaller than that of friends who got no side dish, while the price was the same. Eh. And, sadly, it was okay at best, with one meat die being nearly all fat for example. The other deer dish was somewhat better. From what I've heard, a friend's mushroom soup was average at best too (seemed like it came from a supermarket), and she wasn't inclined to finish the small bowl. The price is overall somewhat (but not terribly) elevated, but this time mostly not followed by quality or by portion sizes, which makes it sting a little and left us disappointed by the experience. All in all, honestly, I have no idea how it compares to the other restaurants in the town, but if venison is your thing, give any of them a try. Businesses in places like this should by all means be supported!
