We arranged in advance a dinner "peka" (traditional meat plate) for 4 people + a small baby. The dinner was OK and the owners are very nice. When he asked if we want some dessert, we said yes and he brought some home made dry cookies that we didn't specifically choose and that we thought was a gift. We were expecting to receive a dessert menu and to choose something and not to receive something by their choice. In the end, the baby was counted as an adult (30⬠per person for the meat) and dessert was charged for all of us. The price was similar to very best restaurants on the coast but this is very far from that. If they want to act as a family owned restaurant without a proper toilet or service, they shouldn't charge so much.

A bistro doesnât mean gastro, and Croatia is not necessarily known for her kitchen. We experienced decent food here. Had a boring spaghetti bolognese but good cheeses and ham as starters. Iâve heard others say this place serves good food (compared to other restaurants on Korcula) so I shall not judge hard. I didnât try the seafood either which they are probably known for. The bistro was fine enough for lunch and the beer tastes well everywhere on this island. Nice surroundings and a cozy atmosphere. It should be pretty easy to step it up a notch or two. Bolognese doesnât have to be sooo boring and tasteless :-)

We were looking for a genuine local place but in KorÄula it seems a rather hard thing to accomplish ... and this restaurant was not an exception ! We got a fish soup that was just hot water ... calamari were reasonable and prawns were very tasty instead. The wine regular. The bill rather expensive for the quality of the food we got yet with an amazing view !
Bajko is a family owned, quite isolated from the hustle of the town, with pleasant and lovely atmosphere, serving freshly caught fish and sea food, and traditionally prepared wild boar goulash with gnocchi.Open daily 18-24hrs, from 10.June-15.September.
Visited Bajko end of Aug 2016. I like the setting, as it is not very crowded and tables are set far apart, as they should be. Service was very fast, we had fresh grilled fish, and cevapcici. Bread is home made, and we finished first basket even before food arrived. We also had red table vine, and it was superb, complementing the fish well. Restrooms were clean and well appointed.I definitely recommend visiting this place and having a proper, fresh mea

I went there even if I read before some really bad reviews. After I tired I can state that negative reviews are correct. Price too high for a Croatian traditional restaurant. We ate a grilled mix of pork and a tiny appetizer taste of Dalmatian ham and cheese (ricotta). Anything special. Grilled meat poor with liver inside not agreeable. One litre of local red wine (poor quality) . Total sum : 280kn !Too much for the place, too much for the food and too much for the quality and quantity. Therefore I can put a whole negative review ! Try if you want BUT donât expect much ! Above all small quantity and anything addition is on pay ! Ask for the menu with prices before starting ! Ah, one worst comment more: long waiting for all that !

We chose Cerin twice. Lovely place, great food and a beautiful view right in front of the sea, especially with full moon. Food is fresh, we also disco verde some new stuff, beside excellent shrimps and excellent mussels. The special vegetables plate (zucchini, blitva and potatoes) is recommended. Reservation is also suggested, if you want the view. Really nice personnel.

A newly opened restoraunt at the end of Karbuni. We offer a wonderful and a warm atmosfere.
Didnât love this place as much as previous reviewers. Setting wonderful with breathtaking view, food good but not great. Staff ok without being super friendly, but waiter quite rude when one of our party had left some of their fried calamari, demanding âWhy didnât she eat it?!â Dessert was very good, and all was reasonably priced. Good meal, but wouldnât go back.

I was not expecting much, seeing that it looks like a small cafe and not a full-on restaurant. Furthermore, we arrived in low-season, and the many of the restaurants were either closed or not selling anymore food.We were the only customers when we arrived, and the chef was sitting at the outside seating area having a drink. When we asked if food is available, he proceeded to explain what ingredients he has left, and what he can cook up for us.We took several of his suggestions - -Carbonora macaroni-Seafood risotto-Chicken Salad-CalamariAnd i will not hesitate to say that his meal was one of the best we have had in Croatia so far. We just couldn't believe our luck! Before leaving, he asked us to leave a review on Tripadvisor for him, but i would have done so in any case. The price was more than affordable, and we were so glad that we chanced upon this inconspicuous gem!
