Provence in southeastern France is divided into six departments and stretches from Orange to Nice. Many consider the Luberon in Vaucluse to be the "real Provence." Gently sloping vineyards and lavender fields are the backdrops that enthralled Cezanne, Van Gogh and Chagall. An excellent train network makes travel between cities easy. To explore villages, drive or catch a bus. Particular highlights include Palace of the Popes at Avignon, the Roman amphitheatre at Arles and the craft center of Les Baux.

Located at 5km Saint Raphael, famous lively seaside resort with its town center and its shops, its city, its Casino, its marina and its markets diurnal and nocturnal in summer. Located by the sea, at the foot of the Esterel Massif, the Hotel La Plage is located in the heart of a private 3-hectare estate comprising a residence with 74 apartments, 42 cottages and a hotel with 17 rooms, in a Provencal and contemporary setting.
I loved the location and the views. The room we got ended up having a little, equipped kitchenette, big bedroom and beautiful balcony. The pool was really nice too. Great to hangout and take in the incredible views. Did I mention it’s also on the roof top? Staff was friendly and helpful as well.

A bed&breakfast in a mansion that from the outside does not look inviting; but the rooms are well renovated, there is free wifi, high ceilings, six (!) electric outlets in the room (more than in any luxury hotel room I have ever seen!) so you can charge your iPhone, computer and still dry your hair or use a mosquito repellent all at the same time/ Very friendly hosts, Roxane and Martin; great croissants and bread in the morning (but not before 8 unless maybe on request?) The only thing: very easy to miss from the road; the sign is too small, almost impossible to read (especially in the night) if you come from Apt , and totally impossible to see if you come from Rustrel; enter the GPS coordinates very precisely as they are given on the website or in the welcoming email.

Beautifully situated on a lake, teaming with carp, we found the cabin was cleverly designed, clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches. Staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Our food paniers (evening and breakfast) were tasty and well thought out, with local produce. We left feeling very relaxed, after what felt like longer than one night - we hope to return and will definitely recommend to friends.

Self catering Cottage, high standard, comfortable accommodation, set in pedestrian medieval 'perched' village Ste Agnes(750 metres)on the Cote d'Azur overlooking Menton,South France. Stunning mountain and sea views, private terraces, secluded, magical location. Village has 3 restaurants, cafe and shop.Wonderful for hiking, riding, swimming and cycling Festivals/Carnivals,Monaco Grand Prix,Markets etc. Public transport. Nice airport 1 hr.Italy 30 mins. Open all year.
This is a quaint place and we enjoyed staying there. There is only 1 shower room which is upstairs by the sofa bed and the stairs creek badly so anyone going from the downstairs beds up to the loo during the night rather disturbed everyone. Also, having 1 shower and wc rather tested our group - but we managed. Other than that it was great. The kitchen was handy for snacks and making hot drinks etc. We sat out on the terrace for a drink early evening which was lovely. The owner lives in half of the building with her little dog and she has steps that go down onto the terrace and we would occasionally bump into her walking her dog down the garden.. Clean. Good linen. Kitchen well set up.

This place is a hidden gem in the Provence! Dina and Guy will spoil you from start to finish. In the morning a delicious, healthy and very varied breakfast is served outside at a beautifully decorated table. There is a possibility to enjoy the table d’hôtes in the evening and that has always pleased us very much. The different courses were very tasty and refined. The spacious and neat rooms are very personal and tastefully furnished and equipped. Dina and Guy are very hospitable and always take the time to give you tips to explore the area. And if you find it too warm to visit the nice villages in the area, then the lovely swimming pool will definitely please you! In short, this was a picture-perfect stay at a very fair price! And this was not a goodbye but until we meet again! :-)
