Sad to see this lovely property overgrown and in decay. After annual visits over 20+ years, I will not return. Faceless check-in was a nightmare. Five calls to the ‘off-site’ Office were hung up on after 8 rings. Four other visitors showed up as I was giving up and leaving. Luckily, one was finally able to get a response from an Indian woman who talked a lot and didn’t listen to what we were saying. Eventually we all did get in to our cabins through that one call. The Lodge is locked, so there’s no longer a kitchenette available. Paint on the buildings is peeling. Windows are cracked. The grounds and gardens are eerily overgrown. The porchlights on the cabins don’t come on at night anymore. The contact number left in case of emergency was the same one that didn’t work at check-in. The place felt creepy and abandoned. Looks like someone is trying to cash in by running the place remotely and as cheaply as possible. Next year, I will be choosing from one of the numerous warm and welcoming hospitable family-run lodges in the area.

Magnolia Streamside Resort is truly a place for your mind, body and soul. Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, and just two hours away from the New York City, it is a perfect place to unwind and escape the hassle of everyday life. We paid meticulous attention to every detail, while renovating and designing our beautiful cottages. However, Mother Nature did the main part by creating a perfect oasis of tranquility and relaxation. Sounds of a vibrant stream, energy of tall pine trees and fresh mountain air will balance your mind, recharge your body and renew your soul. Visit us and experience the magic of Magnolia Streamside for yourself!

Do you want to stargaze, relax, and breathe in fresh mountain air or at your own private cottage just steps from waterfalls? Babbling Brook Cottages offer a place to unplug from everyday life and enjoy the tranquility of the forest and mountains. Five separate cottages built in the 1950's, allow couples, families, and small groups to gather in the same location while each can enjoy their own individual space. These "original" tiny homes are located in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania - just minutes to hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, the Delaware River, serene lakes, awesome shops, amazing restaurants and breweries, every kind of festival and fair, and one of a kind memories. We welcome the opportunity to help our guests make the most of each stay.
We stayed in Bear Claw and the cottage was perfect! It was clean and had everything you’d need. The kitchen, bathroom was fully stocked. We especially loved the grill and fire pit area and our stay was so relaxing. We are so glad we found this place! We cannot wait to come back! again!

We rented a 1 bedroom cottage. There is a small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. The cottage faces the road so it doesn't feel like your camping. The traffic can be loud but the horse and buggies and kids riding scooters are enjoyable to hear. There are no grills provided and no campfires allowed. This was a bummer. The campground didn't have the camping in the woods feel. We visited the local markets and stores which is a must do when in Lancaster. I would rather stay here then in a hogel when visiting the area. The owners are friendly and have cute office cats.

Clean, roomy, stocked with stuff, great linens, really lovely kitchen with modern appliances. WiFi was strong and consistent enough for me to work on email and zoom simultaneously. The place i had - the brown cottage is really great for two couples or a family of 4. And breathless views!

Creekside Resort is a brand new rustic yet modern resort conveniently located 90 minutes from Washington D.C., 150 minutes from Pittsburgh. This unique property is the perfect location for weekend family stays, reunions, parties and weddings. The newly built cabins offer first class accommodations for the resort. With attention to every detail, you'll find the Creekside Resort to be inviting.
This is our 8th visit. We are here now. It is truly as I have written from my first review a hidden gem. I love everything about the Creekside Resort! Tracey is exemplary as is Gary! They both are welcoming and kind to a fault. I hope that The Creekside remains this little piece of perfect outdoors. Where all your needs are meant and then some. The perfect stream and wonderful pond with the Osprey in the morning fishing for their breakfast. My husband is a photographer and he enjoys early mornings with birds and night with the owls. This is a hidden treasure for sure. We have been here in all seasons. This is my favorite place to getaway! I love it ?

My husband and I have stayed at the Willow House Cottage Suite every July for many years while I attend a Ligonier Valley Writers event. We’ve enjoyed ourselves so much that we make an extended 4 day mini-vacation out of it. Connie is a great hostess, and the cottage is so comfy and relaxing that we call it our home away from home. Connie’s green thumb is another reason why we keep coming back. We love wandering her colorful garden and taking dozens of photos as mementoes of our stay. Recently, a friend and I stayed overnight at Connie's Stone House to attend a writer’s workshop on a chilly March day, and Connie welcomed us with a hug and a cozy fire in the living room fireplace. From the pub table in the kitchen that is perfect for breakfast to the comfortable bed with a heated mattress on the second floor, everything was ideal. I recommend the cottage or Stone House in Latrobe as a much better deal than renting a hotel room any day!

An upscale get-away located in the heart of Amish country. King size bed with jetted tub.
Myself and the bridesmaids in my brother's wedding all went together to rent the cottage for a night since my brother's wedding had to be virtual due to the pandemic. We walked in to add a few personal touches to the cottage before they arrived and immediately found ourselves in an oasis. We were greeted with 2 sweet cats and a dog who just loved on us when we arrived. The room and bathroom were beautiful and the owners went out of their way to make their stay special. They had a chocolate horse/buggy and handwritten note for them about their stay and had new candles along with all the goodies. They had a small snack try with decent prices and even a bag of cat treats to buy to feed the kitties who I'm sure would love it. They supplied a keurig, k-cups, plates/cups/silverware and all the normal necessities as well. We loved the slippers and bathrobe they left for them as well, so it's just the perfect place. We will definitely be booking this for the future just as a weekend away. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and let my brother and his wife stay as late as they wanted the next day. The area is beautiful and everything was meticulous. Definitely worth staying there and the price was just right! We'll be back! Definitely recommend this on so many levels! Perfect for one night or a few!

Rooms were very clean. Don't think they'd recently been re-modeled (no paint smell, etc.) but in very good condition. When we went to office about a burned out light bulb, they immediately came to replace it. We had full kitchen, garbage was removed every day. Fresh towels every day as needed. Location excellent, short drive to attractions. On edge of town, but not right in town (quiet, not too much noise). They had some cottages that allowed dogs which is why I initially booked with them (hard to find somewhere that allowed dogs). We had a small outside table and chairs. Overall, not "the Ritz", not fancy, but nice and kept up well.
