The five dramatic Patagonian provinces stretch from the ice fields and granite peaks of the Andes mountains to the rugged Atlantic coast, where southern right whales gather to breed. A nature lover's dream, it's also home to the sizable Peninsula Valdes southern elephant seal colony and the world's largest Magellanic penguin colony, located in the Punta Tombo reserve. At its tip, Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia, the globe's southernmost city, are popular jumping-off points for Antarctic cruises.

I was staying in one of their premium suites and it was amazing. Incredible views. They have good food and once again, amazing views while your eating or just relaxing was a bonus. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Well located, calm and quiet, this cozy B&B is a very good option to stay in Ushuaia if you're looking for a relaxing holiday. The place is comfy, neat and tidy. The rooms are warm and breakfast is good. Miguel, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He used to be a tour guide so he's really knowledgeable and gives you tips on what to do and how to do it in the best way. He even gave us a lift to one of the glaciers because we were short of time on the last day. I would definitely go back to this place if I came back to Ushuaia.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dodo House. The house is beautifully decorated and gives a super nice homely feeling as soon as you arrive. The rooms are bright and stylish and the bed is super comfortable. Hernan is a great host who helped with local tips and things to do. It was a 20min walk from town or a quick taxi from the center, but we actually liked being in a residential area closer to the lake. We regret not staying there longer. All in all, a wonderful little gem outside of Villa la Angostura.

Family tourist venture. Cared for by their owners: Hector, Patricia and Maria del Rosario. They are located in the City of Puerto Santa Cruz, Provincial Historical capital 250 km from the present capital, Rio Gallegos. The waters that run through the province from the continental ice flow into our city. A 17 km from the city is the Puerto Punta Quilla, natural deep water port, walking four kilometers from here walk along the sand and rolled to the side of major tertiary cliffs edge, you can reach the Punta Entrada Penguin Colony. There live more than 20,000 copies of Magellanic penguins arriving on these shores in August for playback. Every year is celebrated in Puerto Santa Cruz Provincial Snook Festival and fishing enthusiasts marvel at the quantity, size and quality of the parts that can be obtained. A 45 km from our town is the Monte Leon National Park where there is a colony of sea lions and sea lions hair, Magellanic penguins, own birds on the Atlantic coast, animals from the steppe. Pleasant little cabin in the small town of Puerto Santa Cruz. Two small bedrooms upstairs plus a kitchen/living area downstairs provide you with everything you need and its clean and tidy. Its easy to find as its right beside the Police check at the entrance to the town with a hotel restaurant right next door. There is also a small cafe in the town down by the beach. Not much else in the town unless you are there when their 4 day music festival takes place(February I believe). If its on be prepared for a noisey evening as its just behind the cabins. ,
