We were on our way back to UK early as we had to cut our trip short and this was our last night in France so thought we’d treat ourselves as it was expensive at circa €120 a night, but had a pool and what was advertised as a spa. Due to leaving very early the next day I requested whether we could negotiate not having breakfast the next day. I did this as we traveled to the location. But heard nothing. When we arrived we met by our hostess who was very friendly and gave us a welcome drink. The room we had was very nice with great decor. We went to the pool and spa area and due to Covid decided not to go in the hot tub, albeit also because there was an additional charge. Which we didn’t agree with considering how much we’d paid. We went for a swim in the pool and the water was clean, but the area around the pool at the far end was not clean and needed a thorough tidy up. I went for a shower in the spa area after but couldn’t get any hot water, so waited till we got to the room. The outside areas were reasonably tidy, but needed a lot more attention, it looked unloved. It needed mowing around the property. Driveway overgrown with weeds. The room was good and we had a v small breakfast left for us in the morning due to an early start, which was fine, but we could of been left out some bits in the dining area (as I had suggested the day before) as we had to eat on whilst sat on the bed. A tad disappointing for our last night and won’t be going back.

Firstly, I have nothing good to say about this place. I do have a list of bad points which I will bullet point to make less reading: *Rude arrogant owners who actually said to my wife "f*cking English" because she asked to heat some chicken in thier microwave. If I had heard this, we would have left immediately (My wife is not even English). *I was told off because we arrived late (Stuck in Paris traffic) *Bed and..... there is nothing I call breakfast. Bread and jam only. *If you like coffee, find a Starbucks or something. *We purchased eggs, ham & cheese from the supermarket to eat something for breakfast. *No heating in the room. The owner insisted it was +18° in his house. They did turn the heating on for 1 night which must have been set at low, because the radiator was hardly warm. *Green Room - noise from the kitchen below. Radio on each morning at 5am. Microwave on and off (The first morning I thought this was for breakfast.. no.. thier own breakfast, not for the paying guests) *Room sound proofing is non existent. *One central stairs going to the guest rooms. Second night the bulb stopped working. I reported this at breakfast and was not repaired while we were there. Lucky I had a torch in my car, and our phones. But for my 80 year old mother, this was not safe. *While you eat, they stand over you like prison guards. Very off putting and uneasy feeling. *Tip: Bring your own breakfast. It's the world's only self catering B&B. *No toothbrush holder in the bathrooms. *only 2 very old and small towels. *No in-room kettle or tea/coffee. *For €500 for 3 people; I expected a whole lot more. *Find somewhere else.

This was an incredible stay for our family of three on a working dairy farm in Isigny-sur-Mer. We had a spacious room on the top floor of the farmhouse, which included two comfortable beds, private bathroom and shower, and a delicious French-style farm breakfast with fresh bread, yogurt, cheese, milk (as you might imagine), meats, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, etc. This was a perfect base for us to explore Normandy's D-Day beaches and a wonderfully peaceful area to unwind after a couple of long days. Our host was warm, welcoming and attentive, providing an excellent dinner recommendation and answering other basic questions. French was the primary language spoken, but our host was able to communicate with us quite easily if there was something we didn't understand. Non-French speakers should be just fine with Google Translate or a similar tool.

Accueil et contact avec Mme Ratti très bien. Rien à dire sur la chambre et les commodités, très bien. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. La chambre est proche de tout et surtout vue sur la mer. Très agréable. Nous y retournerons très certainement.

Located in the heart of town with its many shops,Jean and Roland, avid collectors and former hoteliers, receive you in this guest house they have created in their image. hearty breakfasts are provided with flexible hours.
Chez Vous was our first stop on our long journey down to Portugal. We were warmly welcomed & Roland was a pleasure to talk to. We stayed in the top floor suite offering a little more space and private bathroom within the suite. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well until our 4 year old dog decided she needed a walk at 4:00am! First time since a puppy this had happened & Roland was very understanding about being disturbed in the early hours. The breakfast was superb, a variety of mainly home made breads, croissants, cakes, cereal, preserves, yogurt & eggs to order. I enjoyed looking at large collections of ornaments & figures that they have accumulated over the years. We would love to return next time & see a little more of Sees and it's history.

Well here we are again, all of just a month has lapsed and we just couldn't stay away* We fell in Love with this enchanting place and had to return to it's beauty and peaceful calm. This time we experienced a dusting of light rain, some warm sunshine and the morning bog. The river had over flowed the week before so it was like hearing the roaring rapids just outside of our front door. Johnny and Lynn welcomed us once again and this time we got to meet their two gorgeous horses; they even let us feed them a baguette which was the bill of fare. Each night we enjoyed a warm fire in fact we had one each morning as well. This time we tooled around the nearby town "Le Beny Bocage" and enjoyed what the countryside had to offer; truly a magical experience with lot's to explore. Johnny turned us on to "The Irish Corner" an Irish Establishment that was run by a wonderful couple; we were treated Royal and we enjoyed their Fish n Chips along with a hearty bowl of Irish Guinness Stew, it was to die for. If you ask if we'll be back; you betcha!
