Eat & Meet Jerusalem will take you on a private culinary tour in the Nachlaot neighborhood and Mahane Yehuda market, "The Shuk." At the market, we'll taste and pick the freshest ingredients for an exciting cooking class at my kitchen close by. Then, we will peel, slice, chop, grind, bake and fry a delicious and colorful feast of the local cuisine! The tour and workshop are run by a licensed tour guide and are meant for small, intimate groups of 2-8 participants.

I'm Esther and we offer a unique peek into Jewish orthodox way of life by hosting a meal + lecture (all questions allowed) in our Jerusalem home. In English. All religions are welcomed.
Our small group of travelers from the U.S. had the unique opportunity last night to be hosted by Esther and her husband for an excellent dinner and discussion. Our knowledge of Jewish Orthodox was very limited and Esther was kind enough to prepare a traditional dinner. Both she and her husband kept the conversation very basic and we came away from the evening with a full stomach and enough information to expand our interest in their religion and way of life. We feel that our visit to Israel would not be complete without experiencing this wonderful evening. I highly recommend this opportunity.

Shalom! my name is Yaeli Dilian and I am a licensed Tour Guide and a Professional Cook. I'm born and raised Jerusalemite, and located today next to the market. In Jerusalem, around the famous Mahane Yehuda Market and in my kitchen I'm running culinary and cultural activities. I believe that food is the best way to explore a place and all I want and passionate about is to show and cook for my guests- JERUSALEM.
