Really interesting food in a small setting . A good range of small, medium and large dishes. Our favourites were fish amok; scotch fillet and the spiced cauliflower side. Very reasonably priced wine list from small wineries. Strongly recommend. Also consider the chefâs tasting menu.

Thank you to the amazing staff at Vue De Monde for an amazing night. We selected the Chefs Menu and selected a wine pairing package and so glad we did. I do not want to give too much away but I can tell you this is the best food that I have had in any restaurant. Every dish that came to the table was a flavour bomb and every time our plates were collected I told staff dish of the night as they were all so amazing and different. I do have to give special mention to the sweetbreads, I could eat an entire bowl of those they were amazing. The staff were all very friendly, very professional and knowledgeable about the food and drinks, more then happy to answer questions and if they did not know an answer asked chef. My previous degustation experiences at other establishments there is always at least a couple of dishes I do not like, not at Vue De Monde I loved every dish I was given, every texture..I tried foods such as oysters and sea urchin that I have not liked previously at other establishments and LOVED them at Vue De Monde. Went for dinner with colleagues and it was quite simply wonderful.We had a shared board of prosciutto to start and a glass of prosecco. Rib eye steak followed cooked to absolute perfection with a side of broccolini and chips along with an amazing red wine (didnât choose it so canât say what it was) but it was heaven in a glass!Finished off with sorbet and a wee nip of desert wine.Our waiter was Mark who gave good banter and we enjoyed his company. The ambience was great and we could actually have a conversation without shouting at one another, but you could still hear the music in the background - the acoustics are spot on. It was quite busy for a Thursday night, but our needs were met with near perfection and the food was divine.I dont know why I waited so long to visit but it wonât be long before a return visit - thank you to all the team, big pat on the back to you all for a simply wonderful night.

What a relax Sunday Lunch we had at Matteo , this restaurant has never disappointed us about Their food , We chose Sunday lazy lunch $79per person excluding drinks We are very happy with the Sunday lazy lunch menu you can try most of their favourite dishes on the menu . I booked a whisky tasting for my husband's birthday. The tasting was done by our wonderful guide Yasmin, who took us through the very interesting history of whisky in the beautiful setting that is 1806. We enjoyed whisky samples paired with lovely food, and finished off with cocktails. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking something different.

Popped in here on a wet day with a colleague and were seated tucked away in this quite intimate restaurant.The most unusual thing about the restaurant was the menu consisted of just 4 entree and 4 main course choices,The 3 specials were all soups.But the choices were all very choosable. The caesar salad was generous and freshh and the service quite seamless.

Not Japanese,Not French.Abundant food,excellent presentation,however not a lot of taste.Ventilation appalling,poor crowd and the wine list restrictive and over the top prices e.g Ravenaux Chablis Prem cru 2008 $750 a world record price!Waiter very difficult to understand.Staff generally good.Five men @$350 a head spend.Not money for value.

Absolutely loved our visit to Onda on a chilly Saturday for lunch. Beautiful plates for sharing, everything is meticulously presented and delicious. The prawn dogs are charred and tasty, cassava chips with guacamole just gorgeous. The smokin cigars for dessert, a real treat and not too sweet. This place is underrated and a fantastic find. Good value for money too. Will definitely return for dinner and cocktails and to sample more of the menu.
