We loved having Ceviche at Vila Salga. The beer, Madalena, is a really call. In addition it's a beautiful view. Hey Sue8808,We're really happy that you liked , thanks for you're review!Hope to see you soon!Att Jon Borgström

Service is all over the place. The guy with ponytail is well trained and gets his job. The girls are really badly trained and couldn't care less.Food is OK (overpriced for what it is but in line for local standards). Don't expect anything special, but a solid OK.

This restaurant has pleasant surroundings, but with big windows and lots of natural lighting, very good food, tasty and creative, and cheap prices, expect to pay r35-55 for a main dish.

The plates at this restaurant have fairly sophsticated flavors and more complex preparation than is typical on the island. The ambience is great for couples. The location on the the North side of the Villa can be problematic on busy weekends if you are coming from the South of the Island. Portion sizes were adequate for most people but if you are a hungry man (or woman) with a large appetite you are likely to be disappointed if you are only ordering an entree. Service was hit and miss for us and was probably the biggest let down. Not sure we will go back given the value proposition and the service missteps.

Attentive service, exquisite decoration and quality music, in the restaurant that joins the rustic and the contemporary, in the architecture and in the tasty dishes produced by its typically Brazilian cuisine that receives regional influences, with specia
Great service, live music and relaxed ambience. Good drinks (pineapple caipirinha) and food. Portions are generous.

We came for dinner one rainy night and found that it was not up to our expectations. The sushi was substandard, as if prepared by a chef making sushi as a sideline rather than by a real sushi chef. Service was slow, the meal proved to be excessively expensive, and so in spite of the fancy restaurant trappings, nice music, valet parking and so on, this exclusive beach front resort hotel deserves barely a passing grade.

We came here for dinner and started with the drinks. I ordered coffee with milk (the staff didn't understand English, and our Portuguese is too poor to explain what is coffee latte, so I just told "cafe com leite"). They brought me espresso with the drop of the milk foam on the top. I tried to explain to the waiter to add just some more milk to my coffee, because it is too strong for me. (They have a milk foam - so I can guess they have milk) In 15 (!) minutes he came back with the pure espresso (without milk again). I asked again about milk, but he didn'n understand me. Then came the manager and started the conversation with: - What the problem with the coffee?!Emm.. Well, I explained in the very soft manner that I just can not drink coffee without milk, so could they add at list 10 ml milk to my espresso. Her answer was shocking: - No, we don't do this type of coffee and we are not a cafeteria to do every type of coffee you like (And yes, they brought me the bill with "espresso' in it)
