Just a few miles from the Slovak border in south central Poland, Zakopane is a resort town in the Tatra Mountains, popular with skiers in winter and with hikers and climbers year-round. In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Zakopane grew into Poland’s most visible art colony, a hotbed of culture ended by Soviet influence after World War II. Today it harkens back to an earlier time, complete with gorgeous wooden houses. Learn about these buildings and more at the Museum of Zakopane Style.

We stayed here for 4 nights with out 10 week old and 3 year old. The room was perfect, well equipped and spacious. There was only a shower but a baby bath had thoughtfully been left for us. The only issue we had (which is very minor) is that the shower handle can easily be knocked and it was a very hot shower! When trying to wash a very active 3 year old this was quite dangerous and I did knock it at one point, luckily he had got out. I dont know whether there is a way to make it safer? That spa was lovely and always available. My son absolutely loved the play room and it had some lovely toys in it. Breakfast was great and everything was spotlessly clean. There were sledges to borrow to my 3 year olds delight and it was only a short walk into town. Overall, we had a great time and would love to return someday, thank you!

Great place, very clean, pleasant, all we needed, close to everywhere in Zakopane. Supermarket 100m, city center 500m. Apartament around 30m2 was enough for 3-people family, everyone could find some space for himself. Highly recommended for a trip to Zakopane for reasonable money

All apartments have a balcony. Guests of the Kosówka can relax in the properties lounge room that boasts a fireplace. There is also a kids' corner and a pool table. A sauna is available at a surcharge. Wielka Krokiew ski jumping venue is within 1.5 km, and Zakopane’s centre is 3.5 km from the Kosówka.
This Villa has a very friendly reception and staff. All rooms were clean and all equipment working (internal heating and appliances). Also the rooms nd bathrooms are highly finished with very good quality brands. The villa has a comfortable lounge area with a fireplace and a billiard table. The location is also very good, since it’s only a few meters away from good quality restaurants, a supermarket, and the Nosal skiing resort. Highly reccommend!

We were staying in Jawor only one night but still we were very nice greeted. Hotel is in great location only minute walk from Kupowki - main street where you can find really nice restaurants and shops with souvenirs. They offer free of charge parking spaces for hotel guests so we could leave our car and enjoy nice walk around. We paid approx £50 for 4 people so we didn't expect to much. We got two bedroom apartment - decent size, very nice, clean and cosy with sitting area, all essential equipment to prepare own meal, tv, wifi, shower and balcony. Downstairs is small shop where you can get all necessary products. We really enjoy that stay and highly recommend Jawor for all people who look for nice place to stay in Zakopane.

Apartment was lovely, roughly 2 miles from centre. Nice balcony and staff were friendly. Downside is that I had to make the sofa bed when we arrived late at night. Not ideal. The apartment was a little further from the centre than we first anticipated but after seeing the buildings in the centre we agreed that we were better staying further out and having nicer accommodation. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you to the train station and the city centre. We would definitely stay again.

What a lovely place to stay in Zakopane. So central yet very quiet. Spotlessly clean and the spa (about €8 pp) was so nice at the end of a day skiing. A special thank you to Erika on the front desk who was so helpful. Room had everything you could need and bed was comfortable. Lovely and warm too. A great stay!

Remek 4 napot töltöttünk lengyel barátaink kedvenc téli városkájában. A szállás abszolút a város közepén van, közel mindenhez, a helyi bevásárló utcában. A kapunyitó kódot sms-ben kaptuk, lift nincs, de 2-3 emelet miatt nem is hiányzott. A szobák tiszták, jól felszereltek, tágasak.

We used this place as a base for visitng the tatra mountains, and Zakopane town. A good value apartment with kitchen for making breakfast or other meals, comfy lounge and separate bedroom and bathroom. Its about 30-40 mins walk from the town centre but this didnt bother us as there's some great views to see walking in. I'm sure there's more luxurious places available closer to the centre but this was just fine for us, will consider using again.

Great place, wish we could have stayed longer. Manager/owner was amazing with my son who really wanted a sauna/jacuzzi. You could see he really cares about his guests and the customer service. This obviously rubs off on the staff who were exceptional. Breakfast was great, fresh crossiants and bread on a Sunday. Rooms lovely, clean, comfortable. Highly recommended.
