From city to tranquillity, in just a few steps. This is Eden Locke – a peaceful haven for sleeping, working and living, minutes from Edinburgh’s main sites. Set behind a grand Georgian façade, Eden Locke has just 72 apartments making it our most intimate Locke location. But what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in style and beauty. Settle into your own meticulously designed apartment. Soak up the laid-back atmosphere of our living space, with its lush, leafy plants and soft tropical colour palette. And feel free.
This is a unique hotel due to the inroom facilities. Where else can you find an inroom washer/dryer? Since we stayed here in the middle of our trip my wife was able to wash five loads of clothes at no cost since the hotel provides the laundry soap for free! The area has a number of clubs and restaurants just a few steps out the front door, a great location for younger travellers. The hotel contains a small restaurant with a limited menu that was handy for getting a continental breakfast.

Set in a riverside location in the city centre, Highland Apartments by Manlsey offer the ultimate in modern luxury and comfort, with lifts (elevators) to all floors, secure private parking and free wi-fi internet access. Top quality furnishings and fittings give a cool contemporary look with an unmatched level of design and workmanship. Most of the apartments have balconies overlooking the town or the river, with Inverness Castle in the background. Stunning views towards Loch Ness to the south and the mountains to the north and west.
Spacious, clean, bright apartment near the river. Parking garage attached. Worked perfectly for our trip! When I didn’t spot the entrance to garage ( jet lag) the kind office staff came down and led me from street to destination. ( it is easy to find, mistake was mine.) great restaurants nearby too.

20 modern and stylish apartments with a range of studio, 1 and 2 bedroom options in a historical building in New Town’s Thistle Street. Guests in north-facing apartments will benefit from fantastic views from the upper floors over the Firth of Forth.
The website claims the bed is a "queen" size, but it's actually a double bed. It's also quite uncomfortable. Housekeeping service is only every other day. On a positive note, the front desk staff is very nice. The hotel is also in a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby.

What: 64 apartments sit within a beautiful Edwardian building that was formerly the headquarters of the Anchor Line Shipping Company (a transatlantic passenger service founded in 1855). Our design takes inspiration from this and the opulence of a 1920s ocean liner. Best bits: 24-hour reception, two on-site restaurants, and George Square on your doorstep. In the rooms we’ve kept original features intact – with terrazzo flooring, timber wall panelling, stunning fireplaces, and original safes sitting pretty. Why stay: This is the perfect base to explore Glasgow from. Packed with history. Updated with stylish design. Getting here: Glasgow Central station, Queen Street station, and Buchanan Street subway and bus station are all a 5-minute walk away. Glasgow airport is a short 20-minute taxi ride. If you’re driving then there’s plenty of space at the nearby NCP car park.
The design of the room was a bit poor. There was no easy chair to sit and watch the TV; you had to lounge on the bed. Likewise if you wanted to do your hair, the mirrors in the bathroom and hallway were too far away from the sockets to use the hairdryer. For the price of the room I expected some reasonable soap, shampoo etc. There was only a hand/body wash and a shampoo in refillable dispensers. And those in the shower were screwed into the wall like a cheap Travelodge. No soap bars. No hair conditioner. No shower caps. The dishwasher showed the warning lights that it needed salt and rinse aid so I did not use it. In three days I was there, there was no sign of any housekeeping or cleaning. If you aren’t going to clean the bathroom you could at least leave a bog brush so I can do it myself. On the positive side, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen and fluffy towels were of good quality. There was no instant coffee provided; the bottle of water in the fridge was impossible to open, and and the odd biscuit would not have gone amiss… And since I am on a roll of moaning there was no local information in the room: no cross selling of the bar (bars? Restaurants) co located in the building.

The Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile benefits from an ideal location. The Aparthotel is situated in the city centre on the famous Royal Mile, with many restaurants, shops and historic buildings to explore. The Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle are only a short walk away, with Waverley train station accessible by a 5 minute walk. The Aparthotel provides 146 new and fully equipped apartments, from stu
I used my Accor membership to book this for our 5-day stay in Edinburgh. The location is very accessible to both the Edinburgh Castle and the Holyrood Palace as well as all the historic landmarks between these two royal residences. Booking and check-in was easy. Rooms are large and complete with all the amenities like microwave oven, refrigerator, kitchen equipment, coffeemaker, cutlery, etc. Unfortunately, the kitchen towel had coffee stains (not too clean), the tissue box was empty, and we were not provided with bathtub mats for the very slippery tub. We like staying in aparthotel because it makes us save on breakfast fare. We’re light breakfast eaters.

Second time staying here. First time was five years ago. Since then, they have double-glazing in windows overlooking George Square - it's a listed building and they needed permission. Our living area overlooked the Square, with two windows and, unless a window was open, could hardly hear traffic or people noise - but you can still hear sirens; it is the city centre! We had a back bedroom overlooking an interior open well; again, no noise. This was Suite 407. This is a great place with a lot more space than a normal hotel room and the equipped kitchen area offers facilities for cooking - hob top, oven and microwave - if you're so inclined and a fridge, handy for your own vino, wine, beer etc:):) There's also a bedroom (comfy bed) with plenty of closet space, a bathroom and laundry facilities in the unit. All very comfortable accommodations. Very helpful, friendly and efficient staff. A couple of minor issues but nothing that they didn't try and correct and I/we would stay here again. Great location in the centre of the city with public transport nearby - bus, train, subway. It is a wee bit difficult to unload luggage in front and car parking isn't easy in the city centre - seemingly they have a deal with a parking facility, but it's really a good 10-15 mins walk away, not ideal in inclement weather. We returned our rental car and walked/used public transport. Two thumbs up for Premier Suites George Square!

We finally had family come for a visit, as we don't have enough space in our flat we found this gem not far from us to accommodate them. We booked directly and Dorota was very helpful with any questions we had about the apartments, we ended up booking a two bedroom apartment which had a king-size bed and two single beds this was ideal for 2 adults and a 4 year old. All towels and bedding were provided, and the kitchen was fully equipped. They had a great stay and we will be booking the next group coming for a visit shortly.

Spotless apartment with everything you could need. Brilliant location, fantastic response when we struggled to get in to the apartment. Tesco express a couple of minutes walk down the street for essentials. Loved the extra touches such as dressing gowns and slippers.

Lovely apartments. Four of us stayed in 2 bedrooms and one double. It has fitted kitchen and beautiful lounge, very clean and everything you need. We found the staff to be very attentive and friendly. The apartments are very central to shops restaurants, coffee shops and two shopping malls. The outdoor area is ideal for outdoor dining and drinks. This area is behind the Douglas hotel which is owned by same people. Here we found the food to be excellent.
